I am a residential contractor who has been in business for 30 years. I usually have one or two employees, depending on the season and how busy I am. Normally, I do the work and the customer will pay me at the end of the job. Bigger jobs might require the customer to pay in increments, which will be scheduled before the work begins.
I do all painting projects interior and exterior. I will remove paper and wash down walls before painting, and I will patch all areas before painting or papering. Preparation is the most important step. Cleanup is also important, and will be done at the end of each day.
