TV Service - Cable
General cable service is antiquated. In the area I am in they are still using DSL for internet and do not provide cable, but rather outsource to direct TV if you get the bundle service. However, only 1/2 mile away people can get FiOS, which I had in CA and was great. The internet is slow and the TV goes out every time it rains. It is extremely frustrating.

They are okay. The cell service is excellent. The landline is fine. The DSL is not that great. The internet tends to be slow. I think their wireless service is great. I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for 10 years and I never have dropped calls. I am very happy with my service.

We have had no problems. We have not had an outage issue in over a year. The only time they have had to come out was when they were setting it up and they were punctual and professional.

My wife and I are on different schedules for getting a new phone. I have one more year and she has two more years but her's is through her company. She gets an allowance. I have a basic phone and she has a fancy phone.
I am actually not a fan of Verizon because I think they are a kind of pricy. The service is all good and I like all the stores and features. I just don't value their pricing. Because of the complexity of that I have a phone and my wife has a phone and my daughter has a phone and they are all at different times for renewing that it gets kind of complicated. I don't think we would change service unless something big happened.

They are pretty good at fixing any issues, as soon as I figure out what they are. They are very good once they come out to fix a problem, and their prices are fair. The have always been on time when I have had to talk to them, and they are very professional.

I don't have any problems. I had a lot of problems with my previous service. When you call Verizon, you can get someone on the phone easily. I had issues with my cable box and they over-nighted me a new one.

Verizon fios is phenomenal. My service has never been down. I haven't had one problem with it since it was installed. I haven't even had to call their customer service since I have used them.

I am now paying less with Verizon to have more services than I did before. That is nice I suppose. However, they made a big mess out of my lawn doing their digging to get wires and cables where they needed to be. That made me displeased and slightly disgruntled. They could have been more neat. Now, if they had done a better job with that underground wire, I would be more inclined to give them perfect marks. I will say that my service is much faster now though and I do like the price I am paying monthly much better than before.

They never called me back, even after promising to do so. Seemed like a bad sign, so I haven't pursued it. I think that the new Fiber Internet service might be a good value, and customer service is friendly and professional, but their follow-up skills need work.
