vacuum cleaners
+ -1 moreI brought my vacuum in because we had run over the cord and damaged it. I wanted to find out how much to get the cord replaced. The guy looked at it and said it would be $75 dollars, not including the cost of the cord. (The vacuum I was getting repaired had cost about that much!) He then cornered me and tried to sell me one of his custom made vacuums, even though I repeatedly said I wasn't interested after I learned they cost something like $400 each. We eventually found a place that fixed the vacuum for 30 dollars.
