They were very attentive and thorough. They spent a lot of time with us and expected to be covered with it, huge to go, but it was reasonable and fairly priced. My wife is entirely pleased.

Great! Dr. Kimmel is the most thorough vet whose years of experience have let to great diagnostic instincts and concern for the pocketbook of his clients' humans. I would have a hard time ever taking my animals to another vet.
Often there's some wait time, but his services are well worth it. He has diagnosed my animals right the first time, time and time again. And he recommends the most reasonable treatments, to better the life of the animal and spare the pocketbook of the human. Dr. Kimmel's staff is efficient and expert at what they do. I have worked with several vets in my lifetime, and Dr. Kimmel is by far the best.

There's only one doctor in the practice. He knows who you and your pets are, and provides individualized care for the pet. He's knowledgeable and is able to take care of everything.

Dr. Kimmel is an amazing vet, I owe him so much as well as my pugs. I have 2 pugs, Max and Yoda, that we adopted a couple years ago. They are quite a handful, Max is our "lemon dog," he needs extra special care. He has a heart condition, is going blind, has a partially collapsed bronchal stem, as well as severe food allergies. Yoda, is our special dog. He has extreme separation anxiety and is on a daily regimine of anti-anxiety meds. Every six weeks these two dogs get theirs nails clipped by him and it is such a workout, by the end everyone is in full out sweat mode. They work and patience Dr. Kimmel has with both of them is unmatched. He is kind and fully knowledgeable, and is not affraid to call fellow vets for assistance if he doesn't know an answer. Two years ago, when we were on vacation, my father-in0law brought Max in because he was having trouble breathing. Dr. Kimmel worked on him tirelessly and at one point thought he was going to lose him. He called us at 10:00pm to let us know that Max was finally starting to turn the corner for the better and that he would be spending the night with him at his office to make sure all would be ok. He took care of him like he was his own child. He kept us informed every step of the way and we are greatly appreciative of it. He will go out of his way to take care of your family member and will educate you along the way so that you are never out of the loop. He spends many long days and nights working to make sure all the animals in his care are taken care of before going home for the night. His office is a little run down looking, but it is only because he does not want to close down for even 1 day so that he can continue to care for patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is a special person that I would gladly assist if he ever asked. He is NE Philly's own pet whisperer. He can touch the pets and owners lives every time you meet. My brother and father both also bring their dogs to him for care and we all agree he is the best kept secret in Philadelphia.

He is an amazing man. He loves the animals & treats them as if they were his own. He actual answered the phone himself the day I called him for the first time. He wasn't even taking new patients then and I told him the story of my dog & he decided to care for her. He suggested medicine to see if would help my dog's condition instead of having her have surgery and it worked. He is just a very caring doctor. He just reminds of 'Doctor Dolittle.' He's just wonderful. I will continue to use him.
