Chris Taylor first transferred my hard drive to a new container, making it an external hard drive, and agreed to recycle the remnants of my laptop. On my drive home, he called, saying that the laptop was working, and that I should bring the hard drive back. He then determined that the hard drive had faulty sectors, which was keeping the laptop from powering on. He installed a new (better) hard drive, transferred the old hard drive to it and now it's working better than ever. He even offered to be available by phone to walk me through any connection issues that might arise. He was polite, attentive, efficient, and did his best to keep my costs down.

Great. He is always thorough and customer-oriented. He will do a good job on anything you have for him to do.

It turns out that the there are multiple versions of the Lenovo Yoga laptop/tablet, each of which has slightly and not interchangeable parts. On the advice of Chapline Computers in Chestnut Hill, I had bought what I thought were the correct parts on eBay because Lenovo didn't stock the parts, only to be told by a different person at Chapline that the parts were useless. Chris tried to get the correct parts but was unable to find ones that would work with my daughter's hard drive, so he told me that he couldn't fix her computer. He suggested transferring her programs and files to another laptop and recommended, at my request, some comparable 2 in 1 computers which were less expensive that another Yoga.
I appreciated his texts, keeping me updated about his lack of progress in fixing the computer. I also appreciated his willingness to suggest an alternate and faster solution to getting my daughter a working computer when the job he had been asked to do became too time consuming and probably very difficult to accomplish. Ultimately, he charged for a protective case in which to return the hard drive and (I suspect) only a portion of his time. I would definitely use him again if another family member's computer stopped working properly.

Computer was running slow. Tuned up and cleaned up. Is working much better now. I have used him before and have always been satisfied.

Great experience. I went to the website and emailed what problems I was having and what I was looking to have done. They emailed back the next day with pricing, options, and availability. I chose to have him fix it remotely. We agreed upon a time and he called promptly at the stated time. An hour later, my computer was updated and running much better.

I called Chris Taylor on Tuesday morning 8/23/11. He returned my call within 4 hours FROM HIS VACATION, listened to my and quot;story,and quot; and told us we would hear from his associate. Jeremy Varnis called within 4 hours and set up an appointment for the NEXT day.
He arrived early, did both installations, and talked with us about what he had done.

You can bet that we will be calling them again and will refer them to anyone who asks.

Chris arrived at the agreed upon time and took the two PC's. He called promptly with his diagnosis. I decided to purchase a new laptop. Chris returned the operational after I had the new laptop so that he could set up the new laptop and the repaired tower. All done within the aggreed upon time and cost.

They are very good and very knowledgeable. They know the latest and greatest from a product perspective, they know good options from the technology perspective, and they know places to go to save money.

Chris Taylor was great to work with. He returned my initial viocemail promptly and was able to take my computer for repairs (removing viruses and other malware) quickly. He took time and did a great job, giving me sage advice in the process.Chris was able to explain what he was doing in understandable terms. My computer was ready in two days (it could have been one day, but we agreed to his performing additional work on the computer). Chris stayed in touch throughout the process. Bottom line: great service at a great price. I will be using his services, again!

I have been using them for years. Their services are excellent. They have even walked me through the new software they installed as well as made suggestions on software that may be beneficial.

I began by telephoning and describing the problem. I decided to take the computer to him, which I did. He telephoned me with the diagnosis the same day and finished the repair in about a day.

The overall job was very well. He was in and out. He got the job done. I will recommend him and will use him in the future. He was very professional.

We were having trouble with our small office network. It grew organically and had been cobbled together with very little forethought or planning. We had Macs and Dells and HPs and wireless and hardwired and a VOIP line all on the same system. Nothing worked well - individually or together - it was a constant source of frustrations. Chris came in and straightened it all out with very little guidance beyond "HELP"! We are very grateful for his patience, demeanor, stick-to-it-ness and willingness to dive in and get it fixed - weather that involves calling our providers and talking tech with them so the right questions get asked or climbing thru the ceiling to run necessary wires. He was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone with computer issues!

Wonderfully! He called at Noon Saturday as he said he would, hooked up the remote, and talked soothingly to me as he fixed all sorts of junk and craziness in my computer and printer. It's fixed! It's like a new computer. Actually it's better because it came preloaded with all sorts of junk programs I didn't want that slowed things down.
