I gave a 'C' rating for the quality/look of the doors and the two young men who came to install them. They were very punctual, professional, and courteous. However, I can NOT say the same for the owner. From the moment I initiated communication with him, he made me feel like I was irritating him or that he was doing me a favor (by doing is job). I should have been smarter and not pursued his services. Additionally, he told my husband and I that from the time he ordered the doors to the time they were installed would be approximately 10 days. Three months later, they were finally completed after going weeks without hearing so much as a peep from him. I had to call a few times and send several emails to get a status update. Also, when the doors were finally ready to be installed, the one door was the wrong size and could not be installed that day. Three more weeks went by without hearing anything from him. After I finally emailed him to get the status, he said they were ready and he could install it the next day. This was not convenient for us and he never confirmed my response that we couldn't do the following day. He then texted me late one night (without even an introduction to say it was him) to see if he could come at 8am the following morning. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and felt like he wanted us to be on his schedule. My husband and I are both very patient people, but he certainly pushed our limits and I think he felt he could take advantage of our patience and that we are on the younger side/new homeowners. We learned our lesson and would not recommend using them.

John Tallarida gave us an invoice, we agreed on a price and we gave him a $600 deposit. He came back and said it would be $ 700 more. We thought about it and finally agreed because we thought we needed it. He gave us a new invoice with the higher price, then he came back again and said it would be $ 150 more. We told him to cancel it, but he backtracked and said that he would not charge us the $150. We agreed...when he came to install, he found that he measured it wrong and the door couldn't be installed. He left and has avoided our calls and emails ever since. He says he's going to install it, and never shows up or corresponds in any way. It has been 17 months since we gave him our deposit and will now be filing suit in small claims court.

John is very professional.  He provided a quote and completed the work with high quality for the price promised.  The only issue was that the glass took longer than he initially quoted to come into stock, so the installation was about 1 - 1.5 weeks later than initially promised.
