TAGUE LUMBER BUILDING MATERIALS DISTRIBUTION

We made the order over the summer in the July timeframe. We paid a requested $13k installment as requested for the order and expected to pay another $9k once the item was delivered. The expected delivery time was 10 - 12 weeks. It is now mid-December and the product has not been delivered. We have been communicating with Tague over the past 10 weeks. They have assured us that the order was in process and even over the past two weeks told us multiple times that the door would be arriving the next day. After many false promises, I called the manufacturer to find out what was going on. I was shocked to find that Tague had never even placed the order. I am now in a situation where we are into the winter with a 16ft wide hole in the building and no near term way to get the door I expected months ago. Tague has not even apologized or taken accountability for this issue. After taking my $13k check, they did nothing. Tague is a horrible company with no ethics and is not customer focused. There is no way I would work with Tague again. I would caution any customer or contractor working with Tague that they cannot be trusted and you will have to proactively manage them because they are not customer oriented.

My wife and I were looking for wood to make fencing for our yard, We got to this place around closing. We sere told they were closed but they were very rude, They said we needed to leave. We said we would like to asked them a simple question. They were very unpleasant !  This kind of attitude is not very professional and does not lead to acquiring any business.
We will never go back there again!

His approach to my request was the best of all of the contractors that I interviewed and he performed the work at a reasonable price. I like the fact that he started when he said that he would and finished the job on time.

I was pretty happy. These guys definently know what they are doing and specialize in this kind of thing. But they are really set up to deal with carpenters and contractors, not so much for homeowners. They are not open at all on the weekends, and doubt that they are open in the 'after work' hours. The saleman I talked to really helped me make the right decisions, such as material and lengths to get. I got a little additude because it was pretty obvious I was a indecisive ameteur, but overall I can't really complain. I will definently go back here unless I find out that someplace else beats their prices. Oh yeah, I got free delivery, but they gave me a 5 hour window of time when it would arrive, so I ended up missing half a day of work.
