Horrible fake rip off siding job. Stateside Danny, Tom , George and Kendall totally scammed us. Within 4 years of job completion the siding has come off of the house completely in multiple places. We had constant problems during the job, they caused water damage to our home in a bedroom and our garage when they 'forgot' to seal the siding and roof capping. They charged us for new insulation and new vapor wrap and when the siding came off of the house due to a 10 minute wind storm we realized they never replaced any of the old insulation or vapor wrap. They came back to fix issues at least 13 times after the job was completed and then blamed us, the homeowners. I expected professionals who could evaluate what was needed to complete the job properly. I am not a siding expert, I shouldn't have to tell the 'professional' what needs to be done. Much of the siding was held on with only caulk and not nailed into place properly. In many places the nails they used were too short to reach anything stable. We now need to have the WHOLE HOUSE SIDING DONE OVER. We sued them in small claims court in Philadelphia and won, and they are refusing to pay. They are liars and thieves. I see that some of the good reviews on here were written by their friends or employees. What scum. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY COMPLETELY RIPPED US OFF!!!

Excellent. Thomas and the entire crew professional went straight to work. The dumpster, shingles and supplies were delivered the day before work began. Everything in the written contract was done to perfection. Shingles, tar paper removed new supplies installed. Rolled magnet cleanup. Done in one day'

I had Stateside replace our roof after a recent windstorm caused damage to the shingles. Danny was responsive and kept us informed as to when the work would be completed. The crew showed up bright and early in the morning and completed the entire project that day. The new roof looks great and it was completed for a fair price. Thanks!

An excellent repair job on a leaking roof - Danny came out and saw the damage, assessed the situation WITH me and not just to me. Said what he'd do, told me he'd schedule with me asap (which he did). Communication was easy, both phone calling and texting. His men came, were respectful, cleaned up after themselves, and were gone before I knew it. Less than a day's work to do what I considered a decent amount of work to be done. Danny came later that afternoon, we exchanged our payments, he showed me the photos of his work, and that was that. I feel confident about his worksmanship he accomplished today.

A storm was moving into our area and the initial high winds torn several sections of shingles off the roof, as well as pulling a section of siding away from the house. To add to matters, the forecast stated very heavy and sustained rainfall was moving into the area. Stateside responded quickly and George agreed to come out right away. He was on-site in less than 90 minutes and he repaired the shingles and the siding to prevent further damage to the roof from the impending rainstorm. Then, he also came out the next day and checked the repairs to ensure they were complete.

Tom and Danny are the greatest! Their quotes were the best prices of the three I compared. They arrived the day they said they would and completed the project on time. Tom even fixed an air condition support that wasn't included in my quote. I would highly recommend Stateside and will use them for any future projects.

Excellent. Done in one day. Sent pictures so I could see what was being done (including shoddy work one by previous owner). His crew even picked up debris in the neighbor's yard from a previous project just so I wouldn't think they hadn't cleaned up. Workers were respectful and totally non-obtrusive to my day to day. Very happy. Already getting pricing on another project.

One stop calling. He calls back, shows up, performs and understands our needs. Danny is skilled at what he does. We do not have to check him or make sure he's on them job. This company has no complaints. He's been doing our work for somewhere around 4 or 5 years. Unfortunately we couldn't post any pictures. We were unable to move them to your site.

My elderly Parents needed roof repairs done on a historic home, specifically leaks in two areas. They were not necessarily looking for a new roof. When they met with StateSide Exteriors, they were extremely nice and helpful. He gave them a bid which was accepted, signed and deposit paid. The contract has a 12 year warranty. They performed the work and the balance was paid. While the work was being performed, my nephew mentioned that the flashing was most likely where the leaks were coming from. Their biggest mistake was paying by check. The work was performed in June. Since then, every time there is heavy rain, it rains in the house. My parents have called many, many times. He has come back to "repair" the shabby work 4 times, but it continues to rain in the house. The last time he came out, we were told it would be an additional $800 to replace clapboard and fix the flashing which is where the leaks are coming from which was pointed out during the work phase. Now, he is saying "its an old house and probably needs new siding". As the expert, I would have expected him to assess the situation (when bidding the job, they mentioned they also do siding and gutters) and initially include ALL work that would have needed to be done in order to fix the roof leaks properly. Our house continues to be damaged each time it rains and we have paid them a hefty sum to fix the issues. They have been paid, so there seems to be no urgency in fulfilling their promise and contractual agreement.

"We were contracted to do three roofs that were in poor condition for the customer [Member Name Removed] on her 150 year old house in Cape May. The customer paid in full when we were finished. The next wind driven rain the customer called with a complaint and said the roof was leaking. We went back and discovered that the siding had many issues and we pointed that it out to the customer and caulked many gaps for free. We also provided her with a verbal estimate to fix the siding. She did not want the siding fixed. The next time a windy rain, same thing. Every windy rain the customer would call and two of the times we went back we caulked big openings in the wood siding. I personally was out there on the third time and found one inch openings in the wood siding front and rear of the house. The fourth time we went back we finally corrected the problem we used a product called Acrylabs on the siding walls and closed in the rest of the issues at no cost to the customer. We went back five times to correct the problem because that's what we do as a Professional Contractor. On the fifth time the customers grandson very verbally aggressive. I told Tom to leave the property before anything happened. Since we did the work on the wood siding, which the customer did not pay us for!. At the time the grandson abused Tom verbally he tried to get us to do more work at no charge by saying they would remove this review. We did resolve the problem and have heard nothing back from the customer accept a text apologizing for her grandson's attitude and verbal abuse towards Tom."
