All went as expected. We dropped off chair, they told us when it was ready and how much it would cost. Because we were in the process of moving, they agreed to keep the chair till our move was completed. Happy to have the 50-year-old "memory" back.

One of the dining room chairs I had shipped via UPS from Illinois had been damaged in transmit. The leg was broken clean through. Solano came out to my house and took the chair back to their shop to assess what was needed for the repair. They called shortly thereafter and said that the leg would have to be completely replaced. Since the leg runs up the entire length of the chair, I had anticipated this. I agreed to the work, and they replaced the leg. When they brought the chair back, I was flabbergasted; I couldn't even tell that the new leg was new. They had completely matched the stain of the wood, completely matched the curved leg to the original. It was flawless and perfect. I was so pleased! Now I am thinking about asking them to repair an inherited cedar chest. Will definitely use them again!!

Having received several chairs from my mothers home which needed updated upholstery as well as re upholstering two chairs to fit with a basement remodel, I had Solanos do this work on three separate occassions over the course of 12 months.  Each time I received timely return of my calls with pricing that I considered competive.  (The rocking chair price seemed high relative to the cost of a new one but this had sentimental value to me)   Densi from the shop on 4th street was particularly helpful picking out wood stain colors as well as giving me good estimates on fabric length as in each case I provided the fabric.  Solanos picked up and delivered the chairs as scheduled carrying them in and out of my house.  In each case the chairs were  well re-upholstered  with tight seams and proper matching of the pattern.  I continue to get compliments on how nice the chairs look and feel.  Years ago I had solano create a window seat cushion and two bolster pillows.  There was an issue with the cushion not fitting correctly and Solanos fixed this at their cost.  I am running out of furniture to reupholster but Solanos is my go to company when I have that need.

Solano's does excellent work.  I had used them previously to re-cane  two chairs for me and the work was excellent.  I wanted to refinish my more than 40 year old dining room table which had seen better days.  It was nicked, had water stains and marks and nicks in the legs.  The table looks brand new and should last for another 40 years.  I would definitely use them again.

They gave me excellent service. They called me right back, they made an appointment and when they said they were gonna come out, they came out on time. Since then, I've used them again. I like everything about their services. Customer service was great, their prices were very comparable to other prices, in fact they were a little cheaper and the work was excellent. I have referred them to family and friends.

My reupholstered chair is beautiful! Solano's did not have a fabric that I liked, so I bought my own fabric elsewhere, but they were very helpful in providing recommendations on where to find what I needed.

Solano's sent someone to the house to look at the sewing machine and give me an estimate. After picking up the machine they kept me informed of finish dates and then delivered the machine to me. Good communication.

We sent our couch to have it re upholstered.  The company did a great job of being on time for the estimate, pick up, and delivery of the couch.  The only issue that we have is that when they delivered the couch it came with out the cushions.  The company said they had to order more fabric for the cushions.  They told us that they would get those back as soon as possible.  I haven't heard back from them since.  They wont answer my calls and their voicemail is full. I have tried their other office as well and I get the same thing.  I can understand if something has happened and they can't get to the office but I would have been happy with a courtesy call letting us know what was going on.

I had them reupholster my living room furniture. They did a very good job. I was very pleased and everything was done in a timely manor.

We inherited a wonderful chair that was terribly uncomfortable to sit in. Then, one day, my sister sat in the chair and the legs broke! Solano's came and gave an estimate (very reasonable) for the repair. We approved their plan, and they took the chair away! Later that afternoon, I received a call to tell us how unique the chair is...very valuable and a wonderful chair. I learned about the craftsmanship, but, they said, it would take another few days to fix the chair. Still, everything was OK...Within a week, the chair was fixed and returned. They did a marvelous job, and now I have a new appreciation for my grandfather's chair.

Called for a free estimate and they came out to look at within 1-2 weeks. Approved the estimate and provided a deposit on the spot. The chairs were taken that day. I received the chairs probably 4 weeks later, since I still had to select and purchase the fabric for the larger chair. I selected the fabric about two weeks later and brought it to the shop on 4th Street. The woman at the shop was very pleasant. The chairs were delivered approximately 2 weeks after that during a snow storm. The delivery was delayed a 1 1/2 hours due to the storm, but they called to let me know and they were right on time.

THEY DID BEAUTIFUL WORK. I WAS HELPED PICKING OUT THE FABRICS. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS GOOD AND THE JOB WAS EXCELLENT ON ALL THE PIECES THAT WAS DONE. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WORK.

Carrie runs the office where she was able to give me an accurate estimate based on measurements I brought in. She helped me select fabric and was supportive about some unusual things I wanted to do. The workmanship is good and everything was done on time.
