To say “stay away” would be a huge understatement. One of the most dishonest subcontractors we have dealt with. He recently cost us 3-4 weeks of time due to not returning our or GC calls. He walked through the property and we went back and forth on ideal locations and scope of work. Said he was starting Monday and never showed up. And then didn’t return 10 calls/texts/emails from us and our GC. He then said he would start the following Monday. Same thing when Monday came. Then said he didn’t want the project bc scope wasn’t ideal. Tried to blame us for too much customizing but we walked through twice with him and he was ok with it. And doesn’t excuse no answer or return. Big projects are like dominos and his actions cost us 3-4 weeks of delay as we can’t start with next stage until Hvac is done. Horrible guy and awful business and communication. He will leave you out to dry if he finds a bigger project and won’t have the common courtesy to call you or be honest. Stay away from Marty!!!
