Met him Commercial fishing for salmon.
Never knew the guy prior.
He had replaced a deck hand who had quit mid season on us because the work was too hard... and I'm glad he did.
Mike Rauchet excelled for being a green horn.
D*** good worker.
Anyways.. back to the point
One day in June there was a closure for fishing, Meaning we all had time off , day or two
and while fishing i remember Mike mentioning he has had some painting experience. So i asked, "Mind painting my house"
he said Sure.
We went to the store, I picked the paint out, meanwhile he grabbed all the brushes and other tools he found necessary for the job. because i had nothing at the house. I'm not a painter.
We get back to the house and to my surprise i didn't have to carry a d*** thing out.. He carried all. What a guy.
He asked me some questions. If i wanted him to clean the wood prior (removing spider webs ) and other BS that likes to grow..
i said "No man its fine.. just paint it."
I leave to go do some errands in town. I come back. the man had removed all moss, mold , spider web, ALL type of bs that was there..
I haven't seen the house that nice looking since i bought it.
Very Very Nice work.
He did the job in a timely manner. I couldn't complain.
H*** if i were to do it , i'd have paint all over the d*** place. bad tape lines.. ect.
i am very pleased.
