INTRODUCING R & B PHILLY LEAD INSPECTIONS LLC. Rental property owners seeking lead-safe certifications from the federal lead disclosure requirements by demonstrating that a specific property is free from dust and particles. Pennsylvania Law requires the removal or covering of lead paint hazards in homes built before 1978 where any children under the age of six live. As of October 1, 2020, all Philadelphia residential rental units will require a lead-safe certification repeated every 4 years. Landlords will need proof of this certification in order to maintain their rental licenses in Philadelphia.
