Conny Case from Plumer Realty was our agent. We were lucky to have met her (by chance) at an open house. We would have never found our lovely townhouse in Center City without Conny's help. Conny was determined to find us a house  that was just right for us and she succeeded, thanks to her persistence and professional behavior. She has a remarkably warm, friendly demeanor.

Plumer was an absolute nightmare to deal with.  Plumer was the property manager for an apartment I was renting, and they treated me with an absolute lack of respect, were entirely unprofessional, and would ignore my phone calls and emails for literally weeks at a time. Simply put, I would never again rent an apartment managed by Plumer.

The information was very encouraging.  My husband just inherited his sister's house there.  The house is not ready to sell yet and will need a lot of things removed.  My husband's brother and nephews are going through and disposing of a lot of things that are of no real value but it will take time since they can only work on the weekends there.
My husband and I live in Dallas Texas and my husband 's health only allowed him to stay there to handle things for about 3 weeks before he had to come home.  It is very comforting to know this realtor is there waiting in the wing for when we can really put the house on the market..

We worked with Megan Jann for multiple rounds of home searching over 2 years.  She has deep knowledge of several neighborhoods, learned what we were looking for and was able to make suggestions about areas and specific listings we should look at.  She was always accessible, and pleasant to work with.  Unfortunately, we were unable to close on three different properties for a variety of reasons.

In a nutshell, if I could physically do a cartwheel, I would be doing a zillion of them! This is what a home-selling experience should be!

I had a terrible time finding a realtor and was getting discouraged when a friend of a friend recommended Plumer Real Estate.  I walked in off the street and met Cecile Steinriede.  She asked me what I wanted and I told her: move in condition, great kitchen, and I didn't have a lot of money to spend.  She wrote that down in a notebook, studied it, and looked up and said, "This will be challenging."  Cecile immediately took me out and showed me 4 houses.  I didn't tell her then, but I fell in love with the first house.  I loved it the minute I walked in.  I couldn't believe I could afford it.  Within days, I brought 3 of my friends along to look at the houses with me.  It was always great fun being with Cecile.  What I liked best is that she has a great eye and loves to talk about how to use space.  The combination of a former interior decorator and a realtor is a winning combination.  Cecile works extremely hard and is not intimidated by anything.  She will do whatever the job takes.  She's curious and always learning new things.  Everything she told me was true.  The civic association has planted hundreds of trees in recent years in my neighborhood.  There are fabulous restaurants around the corner from me.  Cecile will listen and she won't be satisfied until she finds a house for you that she believes you will be happy with.  Cecile and I are still in touch 6 years later and that makes me happy.  
(Cecile received whatever the commission was when I bought the house.  I don't know the dollar amount.)

We were planning to move to Philadelphia from out of state. We hoped to buy a condominium. I was interested in the area around South St. and walked into Plumer Realty, a locally owned agency. The person at the front at the moment happened to be Karen Joslin. When I asked how she worked, she said she'd follow our lead. That's what she did. She was very polite, good humoured, knowledgable, ethical and patient. We looked at 50 condominiums and a few houses. So our "lead" was more like thinking aloud! She got a sense of what we were looking for. She showed us condos in neighborhoods that we had crossed off the list prematurely. We ended up buying in one of those neighborhods.
