Provider misdiagnosed and disregarded my concerns. I wound up in ER getting emergency surgery.

Dr. Gardner has been my physician for over 5 years. She is, without a doubt,  the best doctor I have ever been to. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. I have had many appointments and procedures with Dr. Gardner for various issues. She has always taken the time to discuss my long list of issues I have each time I see her. She patiently explains everything and is right on target for a diagnosis and solution. I never feel rushed nor have I left feeling I didn't get a chance to explain all of my concerns.

 A couple of years ago I had flu-like symptoms and saw my primary prescribed antibiotics. I felt so much worse the following days and  called my primary for an appointment to be reevaluated and they said it had to run it's course and would not see me. I probably should have gone to the ER but I have never gone there for the flu and figured I  had just been seen by my primary a couple days earlier. I was so sick I decided to called Dr. Gardner and she returned my call that day.  She saw between patients. She evaluated me and sent me right to the hospital for tests. She saw me when I was very sick and helped me recover, she didn't just say it was the flu or tell me to go back to my primary. She actually saw me right away!  Doctors need to listen to their patients when they say they feel worse. They need to see them to make sure something else is not going on. For this and many other things, I feel Dr. Gardner is above and beyond the rest.
She has also seen my dad and patiently helped him through an illness as well.

I have referred many friends and family to her and every one of them has been extremely pleased and happy with Dr. Gardner and are referring her to others too!
If you are a first time patient, you will have to wait a while to get an appointment. After that, it is not too long. Sometimes, not always, you have to wait in the office to see her. She is so busy and takes her time with patients, it is understandable. I just take this into consideration when I make an appointment.  She will give you the same consideration when it is your turn. She is worth waiting for!
