He was able to provide an industrial diamond blade precision blade to cut angles for each side of the old brick wall for the new AC unit. He also leveled the frame per instructions, drilled the holes for the screws and installed all of the mounting brackets and insulation materials better than recommended. He then finished off the entire install by applying a perfect coating of masonry cement. It has worked flawlesslyand drained perfectly ever since.

Frank and his crew were hard working, polite, and professional. I thought I received a very good value for my money. I will definitely use Otto Restoration again in the future.

John Otto and his crew are wonderful.
His quote to repoint our brick chimney and restore our front stoop came in comparable to other quotes. John and his crew were easy to work with, on-time, cleaned up everyday, knowledgeable and professional. John takes such pride in his work and that made all the difference to us. If he fell behind schedule, he and his crew came on Saturday. One example of the type of operation he runs is that they accidently blew the fuse for the outside outlet and I wasnt home to turn the fuse back on. Any other contractor would have probally packed up for the day. Insead, John went to his shop and brought his generator over and continued their work for that day.
The work that Otto Restoration did on our stoop was incredible. We had a pre-formed concrete block as our stoop, which was actually too short for our house so there was a fairly large step from the stoop platform into our house. John built a brick and bluestone stoop around the existing structure and was able to re-configure the whole stoop to make the step into our house so much shorter and easier. He was so exact and precise. He was able to match the brick for our new stoop to the brick on our 85-year old chimney so well that you can't tell the difference. Otto Restoration also cleaned, re-pointed and waterproofed our chimney. They removed about 10-12 cracked/chipped bricks and replaced them with bricks matching the rest of the chimney. Our chimney is 85-years old and you can't pick out which of the bricks are new --- thats how great of a match and job that they did.

Otto and his crew did a wonderful job pointing the stone and brick on my house. The job was perfect. They even worked on the weekend to finish the work. Crew was very pleasant and worked very hard to due a great job. I would recommend Otto for any brick or stone work required.

Fabulous attention to details!! I would say an "over achiever" because John was extremely conscious of the quality and detail of all work done, even regarding clean-up. Every employee was a pleasure to know and work with on a daily basis. Really felt like family and friend. **a shout out to Frank!! Every home should have a Frank to be their handyman !! John went to no end to make sure his work looked original and showed no sign of reconditioning. Amazing quality!!!

It cannot be overstated how professional, pleasant, trustworthy and solid this company is and how pleased both my family here in Phila and on the Main Line.
I only wish I had found them a long time ago, before I had to resort to Angie's List because of annoying and expensive failed attempts to find good craftsmen who follow best practices. SO call early to get an estimate and do schedule them.
We want to get them back to do our hardscape-flagstone patios and walls.

My experience with him was excellent. He did a good job. His price was reasonable based on other quotes that I got.
