I cannot believe how horrible unprofessional and generally inept this company was. I have to believe they took advantage of me because I am a Senior citizen. They did not get a permit to do the work that was done so that the city of Philadelphia came down h****** me. This situation required a lot of emails between me and the company that hired them Bella Brothers. It was resolved but not without Bella Bros trying to blame me for Not getting the permit. Anyone who knows me knows and can confirm that I would NOT tell someone NOT to get a permit. I am not a registered Master Plumber.
They split a pipe to my heater and never told me that it was split. This was in the spring late April - May. It was fixed but not without a lot of problems. I have radiators that have to be bled over and over. I was cold! Thank God it was only a cooler spring and not winter. I may have frozen to death. It took most of the summer thru August for that to be fixed. Since I found out that they split the heater pipe accidentally. I suppose they were never going to tell me. I am not sure it is really fixed now. I am still in Fall of 2013 having trouble with my radiators. My heating system is less than 10 years old. I NEVER had a problem until these plumbers cut the wrong pipe.
I kept my older tub on the 3rd floor. It was in good shape. These plumbers ( I use the term loosely) could not figure a way to give me an attached stopper for the drain - amazing- they attached new faucets and handles. Of course the cold handle was actually the hot and the hot was actually the cold. This bathroom primarily would be used for my grandchildren. With the wrong designations for hot and cold, it was a disaster waiting to happen. That was fixed.
Thank God, my Grandchildren were with me in August to test the tub because after 6 baths using the pipes that they installed. The pipes leaked. The leak went through the floor into the 2nd floor bathroom. In retrospect, I realize the the person that was supposed to be the Master Plumber owner was rarely on site. He repaired the pipe that leaked, but other than that he did little of the actual installations. At one point his early 20's son was on site helping some late to early 30's plumber. His son was on leave from college pursuing a business degree not plumbing. How could he work on my project? I could go on and on but I am just making myself sick.
Bottom line a nightmare and a major ripoff! Use carefully and at your own risk! As for Bella Brothers, the contractor that hired them, they require a separate report.

He was late because of a problem on another job but he gave me a new appointment time and he arrived on time. He finished the job quickly and he was very pleasant. I am happy I found them. I will definitely use them again.

I initially received the contact information for this company from my brother. I left a message requesting an appointment for an estimate on 12/4/2012. On 12/5/2012, I received a return call from Mike informing me that someone would be available. When I inquired about an approximate cost, he stated what the cost would be. I received a subsequent call from Dan providing the window of time that the plumber would arrive. Approximately thirty minutes prior to arrival, I received a call from Anthony, identifying that he would be arriving to repair the toilet. He arrived in a timely manner. He was professional, and efficient. I appreciated his comfort in providing answers to the questions I asked. I would recommend this company for services, and I do plan on contacting them for subsequent services.

I have had them before to do something in my bathroom with the shower head. After that I forgot about them. Then my daughter reminded me about them when I had the gas leak. I called them and they came right out. I have a low income and to me their price is reasonable. I didn't dislike anything about them. They respond immediately as soon as they can. I think they are excellent. I don't think they overcharge me. I am very satisfied with them else I wouldn't call them again.

With the last plumbing problem in July, my husband and I had just left for vacation and our daughter was at home. The shower would not shut off. She was in a panic because she could not get the water off. She finally did get the water to shut off. My husband called Dave at Oceans of Water and told him our situation. He sent a guy out to the house that day to evaluate the situation. Unfortunately he needed to order a part and my daughter was without the use of the shower for a few days but he did return as promised and fixed the problem. Very considerate and responded as quick as possible to get the water back on.

I've been using them for a long time. They are very punctual and reliable. They come when they say they will. They clean up well after themselves. They are friendly and they are always readily available within a couple of days.

There is a 1000 character limit in this section, and that is not enough to tell you everything that went wrong while these guys were in my house, but they repeatedly disrespected my space and my stuff and argued with me when I asked them to do things like keep the front door locked and to use their own equipment and supplies instead of mine (which they sometimes damaged or ruined). BTW, they continued to leave the door unlocked and use my stuff after my requests. I will give you a few specific examples: The first day, they disconnected the sewer line without informing anyone, resulting in my house mate flushing the toilet into my kitchen, then they used my well-marked wine fermenter bucket to clean up the mess...guess I won't be making wine in that, anymore. They neglected to cover anything before beginning demolition work, and when I got home from work, the plaster dust had turned my pet turtle into a powdered sugar donut without the hole. It went on from there. AARRGGHH!
