I called and set up an appointment early June and the Rep (Ray) was right on time. He provided me with the estimate and all the information I needed to make a decision. The fencing was a privacy fence and the panels were 6' x6' so 10 panels were needed and 11 post. He explained that they use a high grade cement which is mixed and poured not the quick set type. This fence was not the normal vinyl fence it was a 3 dimensional look of stone and finished the same on both sides so neighbor got the same look as we did. The fence was more expensive than a plain vinyl fence but we wanted something different and this was it. You can see it at their website or at the Simtek (manufacturer of the fence) web site.
The work was scheduled for 7/12 and the team showed up at 8am as promised. the 2 guys went right to work, Steve was the leader and was very good in explaining everything they would be doing. They had on of those scopes on a tripod to assure the fence would be level on top. There was a 4 inch difference from one end of the run to the other. We decided to keep the fence level on top and we would fill the gap along the bottom with dirt and mulch to make the bottom of the fence appear even to the ground. They spent the next 4 hours installing the fence and did a great job. The fence looked beautiful and the cleaned up all leftover debris and leveled the ground with the dirt from the holes that were dug for the post. A great job and we couldn't be happier. We have already rec'd a lot of rave reviews from everyone who has seen the new fence.
They were terrible. I asked for an atomized invoice and they would not provide that. They also miss measured. The guy did not understand what I wanted and the person just wanted to replace the excising fence and that was not what I had spoken to the person on the phone about. Their contractor that came out was unprofessional and kind of trashy. He brought his two sons and left my yard a mess. I gave him 200 bucks to remove a brick barbeque. The fencing company said what he did was not affiliated with original work and now your stuck. I now have to remove the grill by my self. It took them over a month to do weekend job to remove and replace the fence. They also wanted to charge my $500 buck for their miss-measurement. I sent them a diagram about how I wanted the fence and they still mess it up. They also ran out of material and they told me it was in back order. It was a just a mess.
"We strongly disagree with [member name removed] comments. We installed a quality fence on his property in 2008. If he was so dissatisfied with the fence and our work, why is the fence still standing today? He never had it replaced because there was nothing wrong with the product or our workmanship. Unfortunately you cannot please everyone. We have been in business for over 42 years and stand behind all our work. We install approximately 2,000 fences per year and have had very little disappointed customers. We take pride in our work and our commitment to our customer's satisfaction, which is evidenced by the other ratings listed on this site."
