Zero stars. Nicklous Bros. does not deliver quality work--in fact the workmanship is very poor and the accountability is non-existent. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere with a contractor who knows what they are doing and who actually cares about the customer. Nicklous Bros. let us down in a very big way. Our experience with them was beyond disapointing. They left us with a mess after paying them a lot of money, including majoral structural issues, and now we are spending more to have other contractors to fix the problems and do the job that we paid Nicklous to do.

There was some delay getting the work started but I assume that was due to some bad weather  in the area. Once they started they  were very cordial and worked diligently. We are very satisfied with what was done.

Nicklous Brothers did a very fine job. They showed up when they said they would, did the work quickly and professionally. Cleaned up after themselves and got the job done faster than I would have expected. We are very pleased with the results and would use them again!

John and his crew were very accomodating and did a very professional, quality job on our basement remodel.  They were very neat and cleaned up the worksite every day and at the end of the job.  We had taken out a loan backed by the City of Philadelphia to finance the remodel, and John went out of his way to provide extra documentation that we needed to secure the funds.  He was willing to work with us, so he has won our loyalty. We will definitely use Nicklous Brothers for any future work. 
We would recommend this company to anyone we knew looking to do any home remodel.

They did an excellent job at a fair price. They were prompt and professional.

John and his crew came everyday until the job was completed. It took 3 months to complete the kitchen They gutted the kitchen, removed the debris and painstakingly put the new kitchen together. Work included tile, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and installing appliance. John worked with me and built the kitchen of my dreams. The bathroom was also a complete renovation. He removed all the walls, fixtures and plumbing. He installed new jacuzzi tub, floor to ceiling tile, tile floor, toilet, mirror, vanity and all the accessories. The bathroom looks like a spa. The batroom took less than 2 weeks.

INITIAL RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST FOR BUILDING A DECK OUTSIDE MY DINING ROOM WAS IMMEDIATE. MR. NICKLOUS MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO COME OUT TO MY HOME AND ARRIVED PROMPTLY. THEREAFTER, IT HAS BEEN DOWNHILL. HE CAME TO MY HOME ON A TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND SAID HE WOULD FOLLOW UP THAT FRIDAY OR AFTER THE WEEKEND. I HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM HIM. I EMAILED AND PHONED HIM ROUGHLY ONE WEEK FROM MEETING HIM AND STILL NO RESPONSE. I'M GIVING HIM ONE MORE WEEK, THEN I'M GOING TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO COMPLETE THE WORK. UPDATE: THE WORK WAS COMPLETED MID-JUNE 2005. THE QUALITY WAS EXCEPTIONAL WITH VERY GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL. EACH DAY, THEY CLEANED THE MESS AND ORGANIZED "LEAVE-BEHINDS" BEFORE LEAVING EACH DAY. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY FOLKS; MY NEIGHBORS ENJOYED TALKING TO THEM. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE YOUNG MAN WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO FINISH ALL THE BOLTS INTO STEEL BEAM DID NOT FINISH RIVETING 5 BOLTS. I CALLED JOHN NICKLOUS AND NO ONE WAS SENT ANYONE OUT TO FINISH THE 5 BOLTS.

BUILT A BEAUTIFUL WOODEN DECK OFF OUR SECOND FLOOR. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN THREE DAYS. THE WORKERS WERE GREAT!! THE PRICE WAS RIGHT, AND WE ENJOY OUR DECK EVERY NIGHT!!

WE PRICED FIVE OTHER CONTRACTORS FOR THIS VERY LARGE JOB. NICKLOUS BROTHERS WERE BY FAR THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. THE WORK THAT WAS DONE IS INCREDIBLE. OUR HOUSE IS THE TALK OF THE TOWN!!! I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO EVERYONE WE KNOW. THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISM IS BEYOND REPROACH. OUR HOUSE LOOKS BRAND NEW!
