Everything Michael did he did well and was a pleasure to work with.  I was grateful to him because he was wiling to come in the evening to redo a  futon frame when I was expecting guests. 

However, he asked to be paid before working on 3 projects he had agreed to do:   1) painting an outside door, 2)  reducing the bottom and sides of a door so that  it would close properly, and 3) repairing the wooden base of 1 porch column.

Michael apparently had a flare up of (possibly) arthritis and could not complete the work at that time. 

Later, I emailed him several times of a period of several months and again the next spring, mentioning the work that was paid for but never done.  He seemed to have forgotten about it.  That was our last contact.

Always found his work to be high quality.

Mike is very reliable, trustworthy and dependable. He is very responsive to phone calls and emails but most of all is very responsive in emergency situations. He is very clear about what things he can do and what things are outside his comfort or abilities. I highly recommend him and will continue to use him.

Michael is reachable by phone or email and will get back to you at least by the 2nd day. He is friendly and easy to talk with. Michael asks you to supply a list of what you need to have done and, if you are specific enough, will arrive with all the supplies needed. He is skilled enough to handle almost any household repair that you have. He is resourceful and will make suggestions. He takes the work to the next step, for example, staining a piece of wood that he has added. He is willing to make fence repairs. The only task he declined was replacing a light switch in the refrigerator.
