He came in and prepped the area with a drop cloth and without delay started on the project.  He was very quick and friendly while performing his work.  He then made the repairs and fixed it so that next time it would be easier to repair.

John responded to my email inquiry within a reasonable amount of time.  We set up a weekend date that worked with my work schedule.  John arrived at the time he stated, which was on the earlier side of a Saturday morning.  We had a slight hiccup when we discovered that my old dishwasher had been installed incorrectly and John was worried he would not be able to get it out without ruining the floor.  However, he removed the base of the dishwasher and all went smoothly.  The dishwasher was removed, new one installed and old one out of the house within a little over an hour.  The price was extremely reasonable and John was quick and efficient in completing the work.  I would recommend this company and, in particular, John Donnelly to anyone looking for this service.
A side note- John was very nice to my dogs when he was going in and out of the house.  I always appreciate that!

The plumber came out just 20 minutes or so after I called.  Didn't have a needed part in his truck, but returned the next day and performed the work.  No problems at all.

I had a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom off of the master bedroom. I always was of the impression that it was from the roof. When we had a new roof installed the leak did not go away. The ceiling was opened and we discovered that we had a leak in the vent pipe. McGillian and Donnelly did an excellent job of repairing the problem without causing damage to a new roof. I have recommend them to my sister

 Tom not only hooked up the stove, but he put a cover over the outlet and used his own part for the stove and told me to return the one I purchased at Home Depot.  I called him at 1:20pm Sat. afternoon and he said he'd be at my house @ 2pm, and he was.  Excellent service, I would definitely use them again.

They guys do quality work and are very oral, they explain everything very well. I would not hesitate to use them again. In fact, this is the second time I've used them and was pleased both times. I received competing offers and they excelled in every way.

We gathered five estimates from local heating heat & AC contractors. McGillian & Donnelly offered the lowest responsible bid on high quality equiptment, so we went with them.
They showed up on time every day and did what they promised and cleaned up after themselves. All the members of the crew worked well together. The job was completed on time and for the contract amount. The new A/C is doing fine even in this current heat wave of 94 degree day. We have already recommended this company to our neighbors.

Initially contacted plumber because my old  kitchen faucet would not stop dripping.  Thought I would need new unit but ,with some effort and taking it completely apart, he was able to fix the existing faucet.  Since I appreciated that he actually attempted (and succeeded) to fix the faucet and not tell me immediately that it had to be replaced, I asked him for an estimate on replacing my garbage disposal that had been broken for some time.  He initially tried to clear it and get it to work but found that the blades had been been bent beyound repair and the unit would need to be replaced. 
The estimate he gave me for replacing the unit (including labor) was less than half of what another plumber had given me for the same unit (not including the labor).   I agreed to have him replace the disposal the following week.  When he returned and removed the disposal found that the pipes leading from my dishwasher to the disposal and from the disposal to the main drain were rusted in various spots (which probably explains why I sometimes got water under the dishwasher - which hasn't happened since pipes were replaced).  He clearly showed me the pipes - didn't take a genius to see they need replacing - and told me how much additional it would cost to replace them (very reasonable).  I agreed to the replacement and appreciated his honesty - he could have just connected the disposal and then waited until the pipes continued to rust through totatally and I would have to call him back for an additional charge and service. 
Totally satisfied with my kitchen work, asked him to fix dripping faucet in bathroom.  Unfortunately, that one was too far gone and did have to be replaced along with the hot and cold water hoses.  Again, he gave me a very reasable price and completed job same day.  I am very pleased with the quality of service and professionalism of M&D LLC plumber.

Better than I could have hoped for.  This is a top notch, trustworthy crew....very professional and tidy. Love the work they did and it added lots of value to my home. Wish I found them a long time ago, their work is superior to others I have hired, and their price very fair.

Our Boiler died the day before Thanksgiving. M & D replaced it within 4 Days and was more then $800 bellow the next bid. We got 5 bids from local contractors over the weekend including Home Depot and Sears for purposes of financing. The retail prices were several thousand dollars higher. The boiler was installed in less then a day with minimum disturbance to our routine.
I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession and I can say their work is excellent.

Our kitchen sink clogged last night. I called John at 7:30 this morning and set up an appointment for 5:30 this evening. He showed up on time and for 90 minutes attempted to unclog our drain with a snake, plunger, and other equipment. He was unable to clear the drain and recommended we try calling a plumber friend of his who has more powerful drain cleaning equipment. I'm hoping that his friend will be available tomorrow to do the work. John was punctual, professional, and very kind not too charge us too much since he wasn't able to complete the job. I would definitely hire him for other jobs.

They were expensive but he let me know that right up front that they would not be the least expensive place I called. They do quality work.

I have several rental properties and these guys have become my go to plumbers/HVAC team.  I started with a small job on a kitchen sink which was done well for $70.  I thought I had another job for them but they told me how I could do it myself for $5 worth of supplies which I appreciated.  I have subsequently used them for multiple jobs including HVAC were they have spent time to diagnose the issue and come up with a cost saving solution, instead of just saying I need a new system as others have done.

Overall it went very well.  John and Jim are very responsive and deliver a high quality job.

I was very impressed that Mr Donnelly, took his time to evaluate the problem. He checked and rechecked to make his determination. When he told me that it wasn"t worth unclogging, i felt that he wasn't trying to ripe me off. i felt that he was a honest man. He must of spent about a one half hour at my place and didn't get paid one red cent. He told me that i needed a roofer and recommended 2 that he knew of. He took the time to even write them down for me, after he found them in his phone.

It went so far so good.  I'm happy with it so far. I have no complaints.

They were very good. He came here and was below his estimate for the work. I had one little issue and he came back and fixed it. I thought that he did a good job.

When he came out the first time, he spent most of the time in identifying the problem. He charged $165 for that visit.  He also fixed the twin handle at that time. He was a very nice gentleman. He was very sweet. The work was minor, but I would certainly recommend him. I would definitely call him back. 

From start to finish all the work was performed in a professional manner, on time and on budget. John and his crew were fantastic, his efforts exceeded our expectations. Our home is finished and beautiful and John was a big part of it. I highly recommend M&D and will use them in future.

The plumber was easy to reach.  He was able to determine that we did not need an emergency visit but he did come the next day.  He was on time, friendly and instructive.
