Mike and his crew have been my go-to guys for a few years now. The work is outstanding but beyond that, these have to be some of the nicest guys around. They are articulate, polite, trustworthy, and just pleasant. They even looked out for my sick cat when I was at work (I’m not kidding). I have been through my share of contractors over the years and I have to say that Mike and his team are game changers for me. As far as painting goes, I’m happy that Mike has me covered.

Extremely pleased with this decision! MC Painting is worth the time to review and support their business for an excellent job. They showed up on time. They were very conscientious about the quality of their work and the finished product exceeded my expectations. Mike is very no nonsense gentleman who runs the business. He was very visible, was part of the daily working crew and completely understands that his business is delivering a quality product with excellent service. MC Painting was not the cheapest painter who quoted me. For the price, I got a very professional crew. It was the same team from start to finish. Whatever little detail I pointed out, without hesitation Mike would be sure and take care of it. For that price, most little details weren't "add ons". They just want you happy with the end product and overall experience. Another gentleman on the crew named Gerri was a master painter and showed up like clockwork every morning with a smile and was super friendly and professional. The rest of the crew (Bryan, Mike's own sister and others) were very respectful and professional and over a three week period never once did I suspect they were less than 100% focused on doing their jobs. Of note...While their company name is "MC Painting" they actually do all sorts of restoration work beyond just painting. I also had them power wash two decks as well as refinish a small exterior wooden staircase and was super pleased with the outcome. Overall, I plan to continue to reach out to them with any more future work, repairs, touch up, etc. I would without question highly recommend them. MC Painting and Mike Cavenaugh are EXCEPTIONAL!!! He is totally reliable, prompt, and thorough. If you have a problem with anything, he fixes it to your complete satisfaction. We moved here from out of state and he did most of his work before we arrived. His was the only work that was done properly (we immediately had to fire a contractor who had screwed up a lot and find another one), and it was such a joy to move in with something having been done right!!!! His work is not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny for the peace of mind and the satisfaction of a job being done properly!! better than expected considering it snowed over a foot one day of the job

I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the painters that MC Painting employs -- they were extremely careful and responsive -- and a pleasure to have around. And I particularly commend how knowledgeable and patient the company owner, Mike, was during my extensive preparatory process of selecting painting approaches and products. I am sure I researched these questions many times more thoroughly than average customers, and Mike answered everything completely in very prompt emails. It really was a remarkable exhibit of his willingness to assist his customers. Mike's painters also showed up exactly when expected for a ten day period. I would definitely trust Mike and this painting crew again for other projects.

When I need an area of my house painted, I call Mike of MC Painting. Mike is kind, knowledgeable, organized, and professional. He immediately returned my email and set up an appointment in a timely manner. He adhered to the paint-mix specifications and offered suggestions on how to weather guard the door, explaining the options clearly. At completion of the work, the front door looked bright and beautiful. For interior or exterior painting tasks, call Mike! His prices are very reasonable and his work is first-rate.

Mike responded right away and came out for the estimate. He agreed to use a special paint for masonry that I had found with a longer guarantee. He contacted the rep and got the specs on the paint. He talked with the rep at length for proper application of the paint. He power washed the wall and floor as prep. He applied the paint in 2 coats and the coverage was perfect. He even rescued my cat when she got out on the fresh paint on the floor. Mike was professional and paid attention to detail. The finished porch is just how I envisioned it.

I highly recommend MC Painting, a Philadelphia area business on Angie's List. Mike of MC Painting was knowledgeable, organized, kind, and professional. Upon first contacting Mike, he returned my call almost immediately. That day, he set up an appointment within two weeks to paint my balcony ceiling, door, and railing. When I emailed him paint color specifications, he responded within minutes. The day of the appointment, he arrived on time and totally prepared. Mike did a fantastic job! My balcony looks great!!!! We cannot praise Mike and his crew (Scott and Brian) highly enough. Mike responded immediately to our request that he take a look at the job, and got back to us with a detailed estimate that evening. The work began about a week later. Scott and Brian were polite, professional, painstaking in their approach to getting every detail just right, incredibly hard workers, and all-around great guys. It was a pleasure having them in the house. (They covered every surface with drop cloths and plastic, and cleaned up completely at the end of every day. They didn't have a radio blaring.) Mike stopped in to check things out on the final day, and returned a couple of days later for a walk-through. We are delighted with the result -- our kitchen looks fresh and new. MC Painting's motto is "Professional. Thorough. Honest." They are all of those things, in spades. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them without reservation.

It went very well. He was very professional, and knew his craft. He gave good recommendations on what needed to be done, and the price was very fair. It was a bit over the original $230, but he told us the exactly reasons why and it was overall a good experience.

I am selling my house and wanted an estimate to paint my shutters and front door. Mike was prompt in responding and providing a quote. I decided to just have the shutters done. They turned out great and he also advised me on some needed repairs to the door frame. I would highly recommend. Also important for a paint job - they were very neat and cleaned up after.

What we got was a Partner invested in getting our house on the market. Not only did Mike C. and his team of restoration professionals do an excellent job painting the rooms, they also provided: -Window washing (inside and outside) -Power washing patios -Carpet and home cleaning services -Re-glazing a bathroom at an affordable rate -AND Landscaping when a another contractor failed to provide a written proposal. This was all provided with clear contracts, a friendly but professional attitude, prompt start times everyday, and finishing work within our time frame which was extremely tight. They even worked through a weekend to make the timing work. I HIGHLY recommend Mike Cavanaugh of MC Painting as a trusted Partner for painting and home improvement.

The painters were great! They came on time, reviewed what was to be painted and knocked the work out with no issues. They were courteous, neat and personable. I would definitely hire them again.

It went quicker than I expected & the team was a joy to work with.

The house is 100 years old, the walls are not perfect and there is lots of woodwork. MC Painting, showed up on time, prepped the area so my walls look perfect, left everything clean and were very easy to work with. I will hire them again. I requested oil paint for the woodwork and MC Painting did a marvelous job!

MC Painting was wonderful. I contacted Mike on Tuesday and needed everything done before the next Monday. He came immediately and looked at the room. He was honest with me and told me he wouldn't have time to do everything. Very refreshing. His quote for the wall work was very reasonable. Especially considering my deadline. He rearranged his schedule to fit my job in. (The fact that it was scheduled to rain helped.) The crew spent a very long Friday and got as far as they could, considering drying time. The job at that point was better than any other painter's (I have hired) final product. There were a few things we felt we could touch up ourselves. We were happy at that point. But no, that wasn't good enough for Mike (the owner) he came out on Monday and fixed much more than we would have put on the punchlist. We were going to do the ceiling ourselves. What we are capable of doing would look horrible alongside the walls. I will be hiring MC Painting to do that as well.

Mike and his crew do amazing work. They are very detail oriented and put a lot of care and passion into their work. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and is a true expert. Everything from communication, logistics, cleanliness, timeliness, expert advice, and quality of work exceeds expectations

Michael was very professional and knowledgeable about everything dealing with painting. He and his staff were very conscientious and did a fabulous job. Mike and crew were total gentleman and very polite. They price was very reasonable compared to some other bids that we had. They cleaned up everything very well. They even cleaned our gutters to make sure the leaves didn't disturb the paint! Anywhere the the leaves they were sure to repaint it. Mike showed us the work as it was being done. He answered all phone calls very quickly. He was there either sanding, painting, supervising or he would come back to check all the work. He was very knowledgeable about the actual paint, the weathering and the drying times. He knew about the condition of all the boards, and when the job was completed, the house looked new! We have been in the house since 1974 and had other painters. This is the first time we've used MC Painting and we would highly recommend them! Mike and his crew make a wonderful team! The group of young men had lots of energy and started early and finished late. It was really a team project that they took pride in.

Mike is extremely professional. He arrived on time, laid down tarps and cloths to protect my house, sanded and prepped walls, and painted and cleaned the dust. Mike also came back and power washed my whole house. He is honest and fair when doing work. He asked questions when they arose and also let me know when he found concerns that needed to be addressed. I highly recommend this company.

Mike did an incredible job and I couldn't be happier. They were prompt, professional, great to work with and most importantly the work was impeccable. They are not the cheapest but they give you great value for the money. You get what you pay for and they were worth every penny.
