We are landlords in PA. Locators are scammers. Pure and simple. Here is how they actually work. For $200, they sell a list of outdated garbage to unsuspecting people who are looking for a place to rent. All the listings are FREELY AVAILABLE to find on Trulia, Zillow, Hotpads, Craigslist, etc. There is nothing in their lists that add value. Worst part, their "lists" are badly outdated. Most of them are already filled. Do a Google search for "review Locators Inc" to see their REAL REVIEWS.

This is a scam. I signed up after seeing the "perfect" home for rent on craigslist with high hopes that they would have exclusive listings that the sales rep claimed they offered. When I started to receive the list there were only 2 properties available in my area and it was not even close to the advertised property. They claimed at the time that listings change frequently and there must have been a delay with the marketing department. I soon learned this was a lie. In the 3 months I actually used their service the 2 listings that actually were in my area fell off after a couple weeks yet I continued to see many homes I was interested in that they advertised on craigslist that did not exist then or ever on their listing database! I've documented at least 9 times that this false advertising took place. Do not believe their return policy. In order to receive it you need actually print out the list that you access online at least 3X a week to prove you have used their service (which is 180 pages of listings) plus you have to have not found a place anywhere else. Anyone looking for a new rental will likely HAVE to find something in that time frame so I suppose thats how they stay in business. Please save your money. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney generals office for fraud and deceptive advertising.

What this company does is list housing in desirable locations on Craigslist, with no exact address and only their phone number, specifying things like "flexible landlord" and "pets allowed". So, for the desperate pet owner who has been looking for months but is, essentially being discriminated against for having dogs, it's worth a try. Needless to say, when you pay 200 for their "exclusive list", the properties you saw advertised are not on the list. And of course, when you point that out, they tell you that they have no control over what their marketing department posts and have no information about that particular listing. So, the company is a fake.
