Theo is an electrician who has a good command of the science of electric systems and how to explain it to laypeople. He's not just a technician, he's a diagnostician and electrical "artist". He has gone out of his way to help us save money by offering different options, and solved a very strange problem in our house where we were periodically being "zapped" by our shower water! Theo also has shown us how some things that looked a bit unsafe to us in our old house (old exposed doorbell wires from prior decades, for example) were actually fine and explained how he knew, showing us the tools he used and how he traces current. In short, he fixes what needs to be fixed and steers nervous homeowners away from unneeded expense. He is extremely clean and careful to always put on booties, protect the floor, etc. We call Theo "our electrician" and have him on speed dial. It's the first time we've ever laid claim to a provider like that! I should also add that we are a gay couple and we are often nervous about how people coming to our home will react to us. No worries! Theo is not just an awesome electrician, he's a good person who treats everyone with dignity and respect. A+++++.

As the owner of two older row homes in Center City Philadelphia, I have become increasingly frustrated by the shortage of truly skilled professionals available to perform quality work on older residential homes. Despite the push to preserve the historic character of older homes throughout Philadelphia, professionals who can actually identify issues and perform the necessary work properly are almost impossible to find. So, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found Theo. From our initial phone call, it was obvious that he is in a league of his own. I explained some of the issues I was having over the phone and he immediately identified the problems and how to resolve them efficiently. Then we met so that he could provide an estimate, and I was even more impressed by his broad based skill set. Needless to say, I hired him on the spot to perform all the work listed above, which he completed in one morning. I'm confident that I won't find a more experienced and knowledgable electrician in the City of Philadelphia, so I hope Theo stays in business for many years to come. I couldn't be more satisfied.

It went very well. Mr Linde was very professional, knowlegable, and very effecient. He even fixed the hood on my stove and made a make shift handle on my back door. He cleaned up after himself. He will be my go-to guy for all my electrical needs; I was very impressed .

When we called Theo, we were very frustrated and we were without - and had been for days - lights in our large city garden. We were also on vacation - which the first electrician seemed to think meant that he could repeatedly be a no show. It went great! We had a short discussion of the problem over the phone, including some details about the type of lighting involved, and by the time Theo got here, he already had a good idea of what had caused the lights to suddenly stop working. Within ten minutes he found the source of the problem, fixed it and explained exactly what had happened and why. He absolutely knows his stuff, without a doubt. I've worked with a number of electricians over the years on various of my residences and it's obvious he knows what he's doing. We then proceeded to have a lovely discussion about the various books we've both read recently and Theo gave me a list of his favorite Japanese authors and their books since he's really into contemporary Japanese fiction. Since when do you get to have THAT kind of chat with your electrician? Delightful. But there is ONE thing that needs to be made clear about Theo: he's very, very busy and has far more requests than he can handle or respond to. He didn't respond to my first call but I was persistent and called back the next day and caught him between service calls. He was at my door 20 minutes later.

he answered QUICKLY, found the parts, came, and installed -- all within 6 hours! He brought with slip-ons to cover his shoes, used a drop cloth to catch debris, cleaned up thoroughly, and he was a brilliant conversationalist to top it all off. Renaissance electrician who knows his stuff.

Mr. Theo LInde was outstandingly professional from his punctuality, his putting on booties, quality of workmanship, and cleanup. We had previously purchased OTC lighting and it never illuminated our painting the way we remember it appearing in the art gallery. We questioned our recollection of how much we loved the painting. After Mr. Linde's work was completed, the painting's subject matter "popped" off of the canvas. It has made such a wonderful difference in our enjoyment of the painting that we plan to hire Mr. Linde again to make the same thing happen to two other original pieces of art. From a purely selfish standpoint, I hesitate to recommend Mr. LInde since that will likely mean that our waiting time for his next project of ours will increase. I realize this is not a fair approach, so I am recommending to anyone who needs an exceptionally talented and professional Electrician to hire Mr. Linde the owner of Linde Electric.
