"Thank you [member's name removed] for taking the time to review the work and service that was provided by Liberty Contracting. It is customers like you who make doing business a pleasure. We appreciate your business and look forward to providing you with exceptional service in the future should the need arise."
"[Member Name Removed], we are sorry that you are unhappy with the service that was provided by Liberty Contracting through Angie's List. Your original call was the $99.00 maintenance special. Upon arrival, an inspection of your roof showed that the condition of the roof was such that the maintenance package you purchased would only solve a very small portion of the leaks that were occurring. That being said, we recommended that a new roof be installed. We did give you a quote for repair work and did that work on your existing old roof. The repair work was performed on the gutter section which is the lowest part of an old roof. This repair was completed and we explained to you that that the leak maybe above the patch and beyond our repair area. We left you with the knowledge and understanding that the original leak was fixed but that there was another leak occurring in another area. We returned again with your understanding that the leak is definitively outside of our repair. We then offered to do a new roof for you at a discounted price. Liberty Contracting is highly rated on Angie's List and with the Better Business Bureau as well. We have completed three (3) neighboring roofs, with nothing but high praise for our workmanship and service. Liberty Contracting prides itself on our owners, service technicians and office staff. Our worked is guaranteed and we stand by our guarantee. We are in the service business and if you are not satisfied, we are not satisfied. We did everything we could to appease you and spoke to you personally about the situation. It was our understanding that you were in agreement with our findings, but it now appears you are not. We are sorry for any misunderstanding that has occurred."
"It was a pleasure working with you and I thank you for the excellent review. It is customers like you that make our work easy! We look forward to working with you in the future should the need arise. Thank you again!"
Finally, they came out to perform the roof maintenance. Instead of doing an inspection and maintenance, they left us with an estimate for a new roof (which we didn't want) and no maintenance performed. they said we could apply the masonry credit towards the new roof. We followed up with a different roofer who told us we still have about 5 years life on our roof.
Due to our frustration with communication and scheduling, we have not pursued this further. For the small amount we paid, it's not worth our trouble to try and get the services properly completed. We will not be using this contractor again.

"We were hired by [member name removed] on a referral from a previous customer. On the call to [member name removed] home we instructed him that after removing the roof there may be issues that can not be seen on the original roof inspection and if additional work was needed there would be additional costs. Until the roof is removed there is no way to tell for sure whether certain things ex. wood are damaged. [member name removed] did have issues that could only be determined after the roof removal that were addressed at a very fair price. There are countless unforeseen problems that arise in many industries but asking a contractor to determine damage to a property underneath several roofs is not predictable without severe obvious damage. We have been in business for 17years and it is unfortunate that [member name removed] was not satisfied. Our goal is to have all customers satisfied and leak free. To this date [member name removed] is leak free and received an excellent job. We understand that he does not appreciate the extra work but if it was not addressed he would have received an inferior product which would have been a waste of his initial investment. Thank You"
