Lee was very responsive. Came to check it out right away. Returned with an apprentice for the doorbell, who did the work with Lee checking on it. Lee had to return again to re-fix the doorbell, but it worked fine and still does. The broken front light was a different occasion, and Lee did that himself on his own. I can't actually recall the cost of these fixes, but they were very reasonable, and when Lee had to return to re-fix the doorbell I was not charged again.

As always, Lee did a great job. I came home to a brand new faucet (purchased by me). My connections were so old he had to put the proper connections for the new faucet (110 year old house, kitchen last gutted in 1947). He had to crawl into a very cramped space to do this. I also like that Lee is always apprenticing someone, sometimes a woman, helping to diversify the plumbing field.

Overall, the experience was excellent. Lee is a really nice guy, very intelligent and friendly. He is a little high-priced, but his work is very good. I'm happy with his services.

Because we work all over Philadelphia (except the Far Northeast), sometimes we cannot schedule a smaller job until we will be working several sites nearby that same day. We do specialize in smaller projects and repairs on electrical and residential plumbing. We may look at as many as 5-7 jobsites in one day, when we are able to schedule them well."

The overall experience was excellent. Lee is very clear on his answering machine that he sometimes needs a little time to get back to people and schedule the work. He's in demand and it's worth the short wait. Once the work was scheduled, he arrived promptly and finished the job in one afternoon. The work was top-notch and the cost came out to be less than his estimated price for the project.
Lee was extremely professional and courteous. He took the time during the job to talk to me and answer various questions I had about the house's electrical system, which is an old rowhouse. It was very informative and useful to have his expertise.
He asked questions as the work progressed to make sure I knew what was going to be done at each stage of the project. He and his coworker were very thorough, and the kitchen is now in great working order.
I recommend Lee very highly, and I look forward to hiring him again in the future.

He was very good. I needed my lamp rewired and he suggested someone that I could take it to. I like that he knows what he does and what he doesn't do, and that he had someone to send me to that turned out to be very good. I would recommend him.

I have used him previously. Since I bought my house other electricians had been out and nobody had been able to figure out what the problem was. By thoroughly searching all of the plugs and outlets he was able to determine that there was some sort of strange wiring that had been done. He figured it out and the light finally worked after four years. He is very, very knowledgeable and very honest. He is very personable and very thorough. He explains things thoroughly to me.

Lee and his assistant have been wonderful to work with. From estimating through completion of the job, he's been professional, helpful, and flexible. He is very experienced with old houses (ours is 1920s) and offers numerous solutions for each problem or issue. He's a real problem-solver and very service-oriented. When the manufacturer failed to include one of the hoses for the new dishwasher, Lee went back to his shop and fashioned his own from parts on hand, thus keeping the project on schedule. During the installation, he noticed that the countertop above the d/w was sagging, and shored it up with a plank of wood. He always seems prepared for the unexpected. The other projects were more straightforward, but I was still impressed with his thoroughness and care. I will not hesitate to call Lee in the future for our electrical and plumbing needs.

Lee came highly recommended to me by a coworker who also owns an older rowhouse in my neighborhood. Our recently purchased, nineteenth-century fixer-upper needed a lot of electrical upgrades, and Lee came over and spent about an hour talking through a detailed estimate for all the various projects we were considering. He was very willing to offer different options and solutions for each project. I found his prices to be very reasonable and his knowledge of older homes to be impressive. We scheduled the work, and he and his assistant spent a full day completing the work detailed above. They were professional and friendly, a pleasure to have around. I have since called Lee for a few more projects, including inspecting the knob and tube wiring that was revealed when we had our kitchen ceiling removed during renovation. I recommend his work very highly. Although he's only done one minor plumbing job for us (he noticed our rusted, leaking overflow when he was fixing a light switch in the bathroom and volunteered to replace it, since he also does plumbing), I would trust him to be a straight shooter on that subject as well. Call him -- just don't make him so busy that he doesn't have time for me and my many electrical projects!

He was very prompt and did the work when he said he was going to. They were here for about a week working and kept cleaning up after themselves. I was amazed that he was able to pull the wires through beams and rafters without tearing up our floor. He and his colleague were very cheerful. They had suggestions about things that could be done to keep the price down. I would use them again.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT LEE GARNER. HE WAS A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH. HE WAS HONEST, PLEASANT AND PUNCTUAL. IN ADDITION, HIS PRICING SEEMED FAIR. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION.
