Keystone Concierge provides both housekeeping and personal assistant services to individuals, small businesses and non-proifts in the Philadelphia area. We do move in/out cleaning during which we clean out the insides of all appliances and cabinets in addition to our regular cleaning tasks making the residence ready for the next person to move in and put their items away without worrying about the cleanliness of the property. We can also assist with organizing and eliminating extraneous items around the home or office. The owner is also a notary and meets clients outside of normal business hours at their location. While we do try to keep our cleaning appointments to regular business hours we do accept weekend appointments and work all hours for personal assistant tasks.

Personal Assistant are able to provide help with all details of home management -- shopping, errands, dinner, gardens, laundry, car repair drop off/pick up, ride to physicians, house sitting/pet sitting, secretarial services, organizing, wait for contractors. Our Housekeeping staff is available 6 days per week, Monday through Saturday. Deep Cleaning or spot cleaning, whatever suites your needs, schedule and budget. We do windows, ovens, cabinets ... move in and move out cleanings.

Overall, the work wasn't bad, it just wasn't worth $66 per hour. I've had housekeepers/housekeeping services for over 10 years, so I guess my standards are pretty high. Pros: Very nice staff, easy to schedule over email, did a fair job on the cleaning. Cons: - Didn't really have an eye for detail, left things rather messy in each room. - Changed bed linens and put the dirty ones in the washer/dryer, but then didnt take them out and fold them - even though they were dry before the 2 hours were up. - Removed old towels from every bathroom, but didnt replace them (even though we have several spares in the linen closet, which I showed them). - Loaded dishwasher, but did so in a strange way - for example, put knives and forks on the top rack, instead of the silverware tray.... - I got a text message over the weekend asking if they could come closer to 1 than our previously scheduled slot of 1:30. I worked from home that day, but moved calls around so I could be available when they arrived around 1pm... They arrived at 1:30. I was on a call when they left, so wasn't able to do a walk through and give on the spot feedback. I do think they would have been open to the feedback because they seemed very nice - so maybe that would have changed things. Overall, definitely better than no cleaners at all, but not overly impressed and probably wouldn't re-hire.
Description of Work: Full house cleaning - dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changed linens on one bed, and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchen.

After our housecleaner moved out of the country, we decided to try a housecleaning service. The first two visits were ok, although our previous cleaner had been much more attentive to detail. I spoke to the manager about my concerns, and we decided to give them another chance. On the third visit, the cleaners were really sloppy ? glass tables, kitchen counters and the stove top weren't touched, much less cleaned. Again, I spoke to the manager, who apologized and told me their "regular" team had not done the job. She told me she would like to send another team out at no cost. They came out and, unbelievably, left the same areas untouched. When I reached the manager, she sounded horrified, apologized profusely, and told me the company would send a refund. They never did.

I have no record of the issue with your cleanings and have checked with the manager of the group as well. Unfortunately, I'm not sure who you spoke to as the incident occurred over 6 months ago. However, I would like to resolve any issue that we caused with you. We do not take this lightly as we are in the business to help not hinder. I have in my records that we cleaned for you three times, July 22nd, Aug 5th and Aug. 19th, but nothing as late as your date of service. The total you mention doesn't match our hourly rates for your services either, so I'm concerned that you have the wrong company entirely. Please contact me and we can work to resolve this. They were not able to come in the morning when they were supposed to come. The owner came and looked at the things that needed to be done. They worked at the end of the day. They did a good and thorough job. They did the job efficiently. Their price was good. They were really nice. They left a follow up message for me to make sure everything was fine. I had to call them many times when they didn’t come; that was the worst thing. I would use them in the future.

An underwhelming experience. We used Keystone Concierge for housecleaning. The cleaners arrived promptly, and had their own materials. However, they left the job unfinished. We'd asked for complete dusting, windows washed, all cabinets and drawers wiped clean, and for the oven and stove to be cleaned, on top of usual vacuuming and mopping. The stove wasn't fully cleaned, many of the windows were left untouched, all the ceiling fans went undusted, and none of the cabinets or drawers were cleaned out (and they were all already empty). We we contacted the owner, Lori, to express our dismay, she asked us for details and for a chance to come back and finish the job. But she never answered our emails or followed up after that. We will be going elsewhere. After a first underwhelming experience with the company, and after posting an accurate, although negative, review, the proprietor got back in touch with us to see what she could do to remedy the situation. We had the cleaners come back to do a thorough cleaning. They arrived promptly, asked many questions to be certain that they were meeting our expectations, and spent 4+ hours at the house. This time, they spent as much time as they needed to get everything done, and it looked great.

I found the level of cleanliness to be mediocre. I expected a real scrub down, but as I walked through my place after they left, I found area's that still had dirt and grime. While they typically get great reviews, I was not pleased with the overall service.

I’m very satisfied with their help. They are conscientious and knowledgeable. They are very agreeable to work with. Anybody they have sent has been outstandingly co-operative, courteous and bright.

I have only had her come twice, but I have had a lot of experience over my lifetime with workers and she is definitely one of the best, even in the two brief visits that I have had. She is intelligent, extremely hardworking, and follows your directions wonderfully and remembers what you said. She is able to work around your disorder. I have had people over who, if things are disorderly, will emphasize how bad it is and why they cannot do a good job. She, on the other hand, minimizes the disorder, which is a pleasure. I would recommend her for an older person, because she is unusually considerate. She is also very flexible in when she can come and for how long. I once had to cancel at the last minute and she was very good about that.

I moved to Philadelphia from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I probably don't have to tell you all that that entailed. I first met Lori when I had a scheduling conflict and could not be at my new apt. for a furniture delivery. Since using her services that day to wait for the furniture, I have contracted with Lori on numerous occasions. In addition to her professionalism, she is a very caring individual and has gone out of her way to make me feel at home in Philly. After such a harrowing experience with the hurricane in New Orleans, Lori has given me reassurance time and again as I continue to go through the transition of relocating away from the city where I was born, raised, and lived all my life. She has served as more than just an assistant. She has guided me around Philadelphia and referred me to all new doctors, points of interest, restaurants, and in general, helped me acclimate to a new environment and culture. Every hurricane evacuee should have been as fortunate as I.
Description of Work: Lori has done many, many projects for me over the last 2 years. She is absolutely a lifesaver. She is always willing and available when I call her. Her services are versatile and she will bend to accommodate her clients' needs. Nothing is a stretch. Lori's fees are very reasonable and affordable. She will charge by the hour, but also bills in 15 minute increments for repeat customers. Most importantly, she is honest and extremely reliable. She has a sunny disposition to go with her dependability and turns chores into pleasantries. Examples of her work for me have been moving, hospital stays including transportation and after-care, airport drop-off (cheaper than a taxi or long term parking), everything from small errands to major week-long or ongoing projects, always performed with her best efforts and a high energy level. I am always amazed by the consistency in her attitude and level of professional service. I highly recommend Lori and her company's services. She is indispensable.
