I like the stylist. It is very comfortable in there.

The salon is really cute and smells really good. I go to Claire, who I used to go to at another salon.
I am currently in the process of growing my hair out from nothing! Claire has been fantastic about providing trim ups as it grows out and was spot on with what to expect as it gets longer, making sure it looks great along the way.
Previously I had long hair and she provided regular haircuts, and I have always been very pleased. I used to get highlights and she is good at picking colors that complement my complexion.
I haven't been to anyone else at the salon, but the receptionist has always been pleasant at JuJu and I have never had a problem getting an appointment.

The colorist turned my hair orange, when I pointed it out she told me that it was the lighting. I assume this was because she had to get to an Eagles game that she was talking about. I called the next day after my. boss confirmed my hair was orange and sent me home to get it fixed. The salon couldn't get me in for two more days...after 4 hours of her trying to fix it she ended up putting in high lights and making me super blonde! When I came back, because I am stupid! The colorist put in more highlights and very light low lights, I was trying to go darker for fall and left root. When I asked her why she didn't go darker she said we have to be gradual when fixing this. She then told me that the organic color tends to pull brassy! When I went to pay I was charged full price yet again on something I didn't want and she was the one who was trying to fix HER mistake. I emailed the manager and never received a response.

I have been going to them for about 5 years. I like that they use all organic shampoos and rinses. I also like that the bleach and products they use for highlights are non toxic.They also offer nail polishes and other products that are organic.

It is a really great place. I have been very pleased since I have been going there.

They're very good. They charged me $80 for my hair color. It's a really nice atmosphere. They are really prompt and really helpful. They're real good and it's all organic.

I love going to Juju Salon because it feels like I'm going to a friend's house to hang out and I leave with awesome hair. I always get compliments on my cut and color after an appointment. Mackenzie is an excellent colorist and she helps me get out of my comfort zone with suggestions for new cuts, which I need since I tend to get the same cut all the time, but she will also do just what I ask for if I'm not feeling adventurous. I love going for my appointments because it is so casual and relaxing there and all of the products are natural and smell great!

The overall experience was amazing. Miki gives a great shampoo, she massages your scalp really thoroughly. She is Japanese and says that in Japan the shampoo experience at a salon is much more extensive. She cut my hair exactly how I'd asked (slight angle/longer in the front than in the back). She blow dried it and then flat ironed it. She used some great products and the overall experience was great.

Although the haircut itself was great and the color was nice, the atmosphere and vibe in that place were BAD. Furthermore, they seemed to be nickle-and-diming their customers. I have been getting partial highlights for years at salons in 2 countries and 5 states (I move around a lot). Never before has someone told me that the price listed for a partial was for "15" foils and that if I wanted any more, I would need to pay for the whole head. I have very thick long hair, and I guess I would've been fine paying for 2-3 additional foils, but the cost between the "whole" head and the partial was substantial, and I didn't want the whole head. As I said, I think Sachiko did a great job on my hair, it just seemed odd to me that they have a set number of foils that they'll use and won't put a couple more or less in depending on your hair. Secondly, and more importantly, there was a very negative energy in the salon itself. When I was getting my hair rinsed by the (again, very nice, very capable) Sachiko, the other stylists were standing there talking trash about a client who had just left! Another client was unhappy with her cut and was asking for a touch-up and the stylist refused to do it without charging her more. When that client went, unhappily, to pay, they tried to charge her for services that she usually got (but hadn't that time). She had to argue with them to get the cost down. After she left, the stylist who cut her hair badmouthed her to the whole salon. All in all, I was very bummed. I was happy with my previous salon (Strands in Old City), but I wanted to try out Juju's more natural product line and the location is extremely convenient to my new house. I'm still hoping to try out the spa services there (because I think it's run by different people?), but despite the great work by Sachiko, I wouldn't go back there. I'd be wondering what trash they were talking about me after I left.

You walk into the salon, and you feel welcomed and relaxed in its small, intimate confines. It's more like a cozy room in someone's house as opposed to the sterile environment of most salons. They use only eco-friendly, organic products even for hair coloring. Julie cut my hair, and she was open and friendly and seemed to genuinely care about her customers. People came in and out like old friends, almost like those barber shops you see in old movies, except these people were mainly women, coming in to sit, relax, talk and/or share their latest shopping finds. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a salon, and I'm looking forward to my next haircut there.
