Process went extremely smooth john arrives on time and asked discussed and cleaned up all his mess quality of the roof was immediately noticed as the third floor doesn’t get nearly as hot as it did before I hire again without hesitation John and his team are excellent.

Mr. Roccio inspected my roof in March 2018 and informed me that it needed to be replaced and not coated due to roof age (over 20 years) and condition. I was already aware of this and was prepared to get a new rubber roof. Due to the company's workload the next availability in May. I was willing to wait due to the fair price and 20 year warranty with no required coatings. The was the best warranty I had come across for the price. He called a few days before they were ready to came out. On 5/1/18, they installed my new rubber roof, showed up on time, cleared their work area, gave a thorough description of the work that was done, and walked me around the outside perimeter. I forgot to ask for a picture of the roof, but checked it out on Google Earth:). They should incorporate taking pics of the before and after in their process. Otherwise, everything was very good. There have been at least two very heavy rains since the work was done with NO LEAKS!!

After several years of my home roof not requiring a coating, John said it was time to recoat the roof. Since the old roof was 15 years old, I thought I would just go ahead and replace it. He called a couple days ahead to schedule for the roof and to let me know what time he would arrive. John and his crew were meticulous and paid great attention to detail. He explained how the old skylight was improperly installed using roof cement. John properly framed and installed the new skylight along with a new rubber roof, which won't require any coatings. This fact alone will save me money in the long run. The whole job took four hours. I couldn't be more pleased.

I was selling my house in Philadelphia and I needed to get the roof looked at. I called John and he was very responsive. He swung by the house, checked out the roof, and told me what it needed and what it would cost. I thought the work quote was reasonable as well as the price. I never thought he was pushing me on fixes I didn't really need. I managed several home construction professionals while selling my house and of all of them, I thought John was the most fair and the most trustworthy. I would hire him again in an instant.

John is awesome. He is very responsive, He has done several jobs for me including an urgent request to check work being done by another home contractor that had to penetrate the roof. John's work is fantastic and I am honestly impressed at how quickly it is completed. He is no nonsense!

As always, John arrived on time and fixed the problem. This is the fourth time I've used John and I will not use anyone else. I know I can depend on him to determine the issue, let me know exactly what is needed and handle it . He will not try to sell you a service you do not need. I trust him completely. He is professional, his prices are competitive and he is extremely responsive. Definitely an A+ operation.

It could not have gone better. I have never seen a more hard working, dedicated, efficient group of people work together as this family roofing business, John Roccia's family roofing. I was so impressed with their teamwork, their dedication, hard work, professionalism, and expertise in carrying out the task of removing my whole roof, and replacing it with an entirely new roof. From start to finish their diligence was so admirable. And they left my house looking perfectly clean at the end. I could not have made a better choice in having this family roofing business provide me with such an important need, a new roof. Highly recommend them.

He's great. I have used him for years. He is the best roofer I've ever used. It was just him and it took 20 minutes. He's reliable. He knows what he's doing. Some of these guys when they have a problem they try to sell you something way bigger than the problem. He wants to make a living, but he doesn't want to cheat you. There was no dirt. It was perfect when he left.

Mr. Roccia was professional, on time, and quick to follow up. He said that we didn't work now and our roof, about 15 years old, but may a few more years down the road. It was a relatively brief conversation, and this is the first review I have written on any site, but I like that guy. The way he assessed the prior roof work the neighbor had done was direct but diplomatic. His is company will be the one I call when we do need work in a few years.

John Roccia was an excellent choice for replacing a roof. We found him through Angie's List and we were so fortunate that we selected him among other roofers! John calls his company "the honest roofer" and he is true to his online description. We contacted him in 2014 and after inspecting our roof he told us that it was not in immediate need of replacement and could withstand 1 or 2 more years. We decided to replace the roof in 2015. John's estimate was in line with other estimates we had obtained plus he provided a 10% discount for being an Angie's List member. We liked him above other roofers we considered because of his honesty (told us we didn't need to replace the roof right away), his professional and calm demeanor, and the fact that he would be performing the work himself (not just send a crew working for him). John told us that he would treat our roof as it was his own roof and that was true. He is the ultimate craftsman who pays attention to every detail and wants to make sure that he can deliver a roof with no blemishes. John and his crew (all family members) performed all the work promptly as described and, in addition, added some fixes at no cost that had not been part of the contract. He was always punctual and communicated effectively with us at every point of the process. During the roofing installation John discovered that one of our stucco walls was crumbling and recommended that we replace it. He asked us to inform him when the mason would come so that he could come back and coordinate work with the mason, as some flashing would need to be added/extended. John came back several times and completed the installation of the roof flashing. Unfortunately, the mason's crew did some damage to some shingles and John also repaired that damage. We were so impressed by his commitment to our roof, above and beyond the call of duty! My wife and I wish that every contractor was as dedicated to his/her craft as John is to his. We highly recommend him. Can't go wrong with the "honest roofer".
