Horrible. The slab meant for a hot tub was pitched so that the water is runs to the house. It's going to be a lot of money to take out and replace a new slab. Cement was all over pavers, windows and house. Do you research...I have a major mess on my hands.

The work was sub-par at best but his crew did damage to my home and tried to sweep it under the rug. I was willing to let that slide but his crew put a screen underneath the drain top that was cemented in and eventually got blocked up. I called him to help me remove the screen and after a verbal battle, he agreed. I took time off of work to meet him and he never showed. I reached back out today to see when he would be free (keep in mind, this would take 20-30 minutes to resolve) and I quote "don't call me again and don't text me again, I was trying to be a good guy".... Right... Save yourself the head ache and go with a respectable concrete contractor.

Workers put wire mesh on brick walls and then put the base coat on which was very sloppy and uneven. They proceeded to put the stucco on and had a lot of bumps. He was given a deposit of $9,750.00 June 28,2014 and a week later came back for a 2nd deposit.I
kept reminding him that we needed a permit for the job and he kept putting me off. Finally L & I showed up.and I called Kazarnowicz
to tell him and 2 days later he dropped it of. We received a phone call from him asking for an additional $3,000.00. we would not give it to him since the job was not completed. He said that without the $3,000.00 he could not finish the job. His 2 workers dropped off
the rest of the material which we had already paid for and took down the scaffolding and left. We had to find another contractor to fix the sloppy mess they made and had to put out additional money. They also damaged my new window capping which also had to be replaced because they used a red tape with the plastic sheeting they put on my windows. I would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy.

Joe Kazarnowicz knows what he is talking about. He wasn't the cheapest bid, (I priced five others), but he was able to start right away, and guaranteed the job done well. The guys came early for three days and worked until a bit after 12 (one day until 2 or 3 with no lunch). I guess the short days were something they were used to since the concrete from each day needed to set. Joe had a pretty big team of about 4-5 guys at some points. They did excellent work, but I feel like they rushed the last day by not allowing enough time for the concrete to cure. They came 3 days, first day was set up, demo, and wire. The second was for a scratch coat The third was the main coat, then later in the day they did the top coat w/ texture. Almost immediately within the week after finishing, a series of stress cracks popped out. They are all very narrow gaps, nothing I couldn't stick a dime into one of them, but still I think they happened because they packed the job into not enough days. A year later and there are more cracks, and not just at the corners of the door and windows. But throughout the surface. I really think the second coat needed more time to set before the top coat and texture. I'm not an expert, that's why I hired a mason to do the job, but I feel like there is an excess of cracking happening. I think that if Joe had been present on the job each day instead of his foreman running the project, he would have done it correctly, but I feel like it was rushed. In all fairness, I also replaced a window directly before the stucco portion of the job requiring a portion of the wall to be "packed out" with more crete. However, that part held up just fine.

Joe showed up just before he said, as always, and he told us again how the process for the 3 days work would go. The guys showed up a few minutes later and got right to work. They progressed just as we expected, and were done when they said they would be. They were clean, and did a great job on the stucco for a reasonable price. We had used them in the past to replace a cinder block wall in the back yard as well.
