It turned out to be a longer process than I originally thought, mainly because there were paint stains on the floor that Drew, one of the workers, diligently worked to remove all the stains. And once the carpet was removed from the stairs...there were so many nails but Darnell, the other worker, removed everyone of them. I take my hat off to these guys...they did a great job and my floors look beautiful.

Everything went well from start to finish. The price was within our budget. They were very professional, trustworthy, & prompt. We received all of our permits on time. The job was also completed in a timely manner. I wish every contractor job can be this easy. Would I recommend them? Yes I would. They will be our first contact in any future projects we have.

E&K quoted that my deck would be completed in 4 to 5 days...they came when they said they would and the job was started and completed on time. I had my new deck within 5 days and I absolutely love it. I probably would have been completed in 3 days but it rained 2 of the 5 days. Kinny Peterkin is the General Contractor and he was very professional I would recommend him and E&K Builders to all my friends and family.

The crew was very punctual and professional. The work completed is of very high standards. I am more than satisfied with the job they did on my deck. Compliments are still coming in from neighbors, family and friends! Love it!!

E & K Builders were my heroes.  They came to my rescue when no one else would. They were prompt, honest and professional.

It was in the dead of the summer and i had just fired a contractor that promised to replace my gutters and porch top over a weekend (which i knew could be done easily in 2 days) but instead, 8 days later it was worst than ever!

It was Day 8 and my entire porch top was gutted and my front yard was trashed with rotten wood and 3 layers of old shingles.  In addition, I was out of $1,000 that I had paid them over 7 days and they were asking for more money and the job was no where near completion.  Fed up, I sent them on their way and told them not to return and I took my chances on finding someone else to fix their mess.

After 2 weeks of calling around, and having several contractors come out and assess the mess, no one was willing to touch it unless I paid some rediculous amount of money. Not to mention I had prepaid for the materials that no one wanted to use.   Then I found E&K Builders.  I called them, they came out, told me exactly what they could and could not do and exactly what it would cost.  I explained that I had already spent over a thousand dollars for materials and labor and didn't have a lot of money left to invest in an entire repair job.  E&K told me they could use the products I had purchased and that they could do the job in 2 days.  I was skeptical but I took my chances and hired them on the spot.  
 
In two days my house went from the worst house on the block to the best house on the block.  E&K even installed a brand new mailbox for me at no extra cost.  E&K are the best!

I was very nervous about letting someone into my home to do any work, afraid of being taken advantage of in price or in services.  I found E&K builders online, took a chance with them and I never looked back.  The quality of the service was outstanding, and the price was so fair that I am getting more work done.  I was attracted to the price; but what I walked away with was a finished product that I am in love with.  Good service for means: having a contractor start and finish the job in the quoted time (CHECK), doing the job right (CHECK), and cleaning up after they are finished working (DOUBLE CHECK).  E&K helped me feel secure and happy with my investment, which is also my home.

Everything went well and as planned. Kinny was prompt, neat, professional, and prepared. The work we discussed was performed as promise. I was completely satisfied with the end result.
