It went fine. 2.5 days start to finish as predicted. One minor glitch was fixed immediately upon calling them (it really was not even caused by their work as it turned out).

I was very pleased with the quality of work.  The were very professional.  However they were rather expensive.  Therefore I recommend to others but would hold on using them again due to the price.

I have never had such a wonderful experience with a contractor. Highly recommended. The owner was fantastic and it is a wonderful company to deal with. He did the repairs even though I was living in Houston and the home was in Merion Station, PA on a handshake and a phone call. I remember him well and highly recommend his company.

They've been reliable and reasonably priced. They did a good job. They were responsive and committed to a time and showed up on time. They did a clean job, as they cleaned up afterward.

Excellent work and service. They also guarantee there work. Also after a year they resurface your roof. They charged exactly what the estimate stated and they are also very responsive.

I felt like I was on American Home Makeover to be honest. Katona came out here one day at eight in the morning and worked until eight thirty at night. The next day they were here at eight in the morning and worked until six. The job was then complete. They worked around the clock to get the job done right. Then they came back a day later to do my gutters also. This is a great company that uses great time management and does the work perfectly. I can't say enough good things about them. They are awesome.

They came on time when weather permitted. The price was good. He was excellent. He did come back 4 months after the work was complete to make sure the work was still OK.

They called back quickly and said that they were so busy that they couldn't get to the job for several months. I thanked them for their honesty.

When the roof continued to leak, we called Jim again. He said he would write an estimate within the week for another possible solution. We waited about two weeks and then called him since we didn't receive the estimate. We called at least two more times; he did not respond. We called another time and he answered the phone, apologized for the delay, and assured us he would have the estimate to us ASAP. Three more weeks and several unreturned calls later we still had no estimate. We called another time and he answered, apologized, provided numerous reasons for the delay, and promised to come out to do the work the following week. That was six (plus) weeks ago. We have never heard from him again despite more calls. We had dry wall damage that we had to remove, and are left with a hole in the wall of our guest room, which we showed to Jim on his initial visit since it shows the source of the dripping. The hole is still there since the leak continues; we have mentioned this in all calls.

He returned my call the same day. He left a very nice professional message. He let me know it would be awhile for him to be available to me and he did not want to hold me up. He gave me a reference and also, suggested I state, I was given their name by him. Very pleased, wish I could have him do the work. I can understand why he has A's.

Very good, responsive, patched cracks plus a few extra, guaranteed work for six months. Cleaned up the garage roof at no extra cost. (probably helps that he lives on the same street.) I always try to use neighborhood businesses.

Spoke with them once on the phone and they never called back.

Work finished in three days. Cleaned up after themselves. Very polite and professional. Arrived on time. Very satisfied with the work done.

He came out, and I wasn't at the house. He left me a bill, and he didn't harass me about it.

CALL WAS RETURNED THE NEXT DAY AND I WAS TOLD THEY WERE JUST TOO BUSY TO TAKE ON ANY ADDITIONAL WORK.

ONE OF 8 BIDS RECEIVED. RET'D INITIAL CALL FOR BID WITHIN 1-2 DAYS. REC'D PROMPT BID FOLLOWING CALL - ALSO PROMPT TO SET UP JOB. ARRIVED ON DATE AND COMPLETED JOB ON SAME DAY. NOTE: DISCUSS METHOD OF PAYMENT AHEAD AS ROOFER DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS.

KATONA TOOK SOME TIME TO GET TO THE JOB BECAUSE IT WAS A SMALL JOB, BUT HE WAS WILLING TO DO IT. HE POINTED OUT POTENTIAL FUTURE WORK, BUT DID NOT PUSH IT.
