IVN Sound & Communication LLC. DO NOT HIRE this company. I signed a contract with the owner Vincent Lane (license #Pa 129226) on 3/23/2023 to do a full demo/remodel of my kitchen and bathroom. I was given a time 3 week time frame of completion. The 1st time meeting him I was impressed by the professionalism he exuded, however I quickly learned that was all talk. Vincent is nothing but a two-bit slick CON ARTIST who gets loud and over talks his customers, especially when questioned about his wrongdoings. I chose to open my walls to make a small kitchen appear larger. This man slapped walls up all around and made my kitchen even smaller. He took out an existing window and replaced it with one that was non functional. On 4/9/2023 my husband confronted Vincent his methods. He instantly became very angry telling us that he didn't sign a contract with my husband and that he has no say on the matter. Vincent even stated to me that he instructed his employees not to talk with my husband. The following day 4/10/2023 Vincent showed removed the kitchen cabinets that were paid for. At that time, I was informed that he thought it was best that he remove himself and his employees from the project because he felt threatened by my husband. He also stated that he would "return all of my money." After few days I hadn't heard anything from Vincent, so called him on 4/14/2023. I asked him about the return of my money. He then stated "The way I look at it you owe me money" I reminded him that he quit the job and that he was not fired. He made zero attempts at that moment to retify the situation. My house is in complete disarray forced to live in a basement for weeks, which is stressful especially with a young child. This matter is not over. I intend to get all of my money back as I was promised.

"First and foremost, our last conversation was Tuesday 10,2023 at which time I felt it was necessary to remove myself and my crew from you home this was the 3rd time that my crew and I felt threatened by your out of control boyfriend…. I am responsible for the safety of my crew . 2. after 3days of demo on your kitchen I delivered detailed plans from the design center for your approval I asked that you review them and stated that I would not place the order until you were satisfied and signed off on the plans 3. After review of the pics you will see that your walls was in no condition to accept the weight of the new cabinetry ( your current cabinets was protruding from the wall that is why I opted to build new walls to support the new. 4 . I documented the entire process. 5. 3 carpenters and 1 helper worked on your project for 3 weeks in that time you accused me tricking you thru this entire project the constant threats from you boyfriend placed myself and my crew in harms way I am preparing a break down of labor and cost followed by receipts that will be forwarded to you today."

Was GC on my 203k project for 1.5 year. Very little work was actually done. Was a terrible experience and Im out nearly $70K with not much to show for it. I will probably be forced to give up on my house renovation because of this. Very unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

"This project was a MAKE SAFE PROJECT BY THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA WHO DEEMED THE PROPERTY AN IMMINENT DANGER, AND WAS SCHEDULED TO BE DEMOLISHED BY L&I THIS CUSTOMER WAS DECIEVEING, AND DIDNOT DISCLOSE THE 2 PREVIOUS CONTRACTORS ON THIS PROJECT OR THE FACT THAT HE DEFRAUDED BOTH CONTRACTORS WHO THEN DESTROYED THE PROPERTY FOR NON-PAYMENT AND THEN PROCEEDED TO DO THE SAME TO MY COMPANY... BEWARE THESE OUT OF TOWN SO CALLED INVESTORS ARE OUT TO GET RICH QUICK IN THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA ..........CONTRACTORS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!"

The molding is already coming away from the ceiling..the corners are cracking already...he used flat paint on all the walls so not only do they look like crap because one layer was used but if i try to wipe them it is going to make the walls look smeared...i told him that he should have used semi gloss or satin he told me flat is what people use and i told him thats not what i wanted..this is why i am so sick to my stomach when i have to bring contracters in to my home they always brag about the work that they do ..they dont understand that the little details matter a lot so now im have to put money out again to fix things and repaint everything that was suppose to be done right the first time...i gave a score of fair because im not trying to be really mean ...but i am p***** about work

I kept hearing about how amazing this company IVN.was at remodeling. -What I liked the most about the people over at IVN Company is that they were very organized. They had a schedule for the project and they really stuck to that schedule as much as they could and because of that they got the project done on time. That is big for me because it is not very often that a remodeling project is finished on time. They also were very intent on making sure that everything was the way we wanted it AND MORE IMPORTANTLY they offered a different perpective as well. They just made it a really pleasant experience for me. It went extremely well. They were prompt, polite and skilled. Im excited to start my next project with IVN
