GNN Surveillance

At first it went well, despite the DVR failing twice but it was replaced. Then the inside wiring began falling and then the inside camera failed. He replaced it but was supposed to come back and swap it out with something that worked better and looked better. He even sent a photo of it in January 2016 and said he would be over in 2 days. That never happened. Repeated attempts to contact him have gone unanswered and he has blocked me on Facebook.

I'm posting this to warn people about Gary Barker from GNN Surveillance. We purchased a system from him almost a year ago, installation went well and we were happy. He told me to call him if I needed to view the recording, so that I didn't erase the recording. Recently our house was egged and I went to the system to see who was responsible. So I called Gary Barker, he called right back, and tried to talk me thru how to view the recording. To my disbelief the system has not been recording as it should. He continually tried to talk me thru getting the recording, finally he said he would call me back that evening. That was the last I heard from him. Now that I know how to navigate thru the system I've also discovered that the unit only has a 500GB hard drive when it should have been a 1TB, and also the unit will not record at all. So what he installed is basically useless. As a last resort I reached out to a friend who gives Gary Barker a fair amount of business, to try and get him to call me back. It has been almost 2 weeks and Gary Barker has not called or answered any of my messages. So to anyone thinking about getting a security system stay clear of Gary Barker as he will take your money and leave you high and dry. BUYER BEWARE.
