We are delighted with our new home. Because of great attention to detail, intensive, patient collaboration and excellent listening skills by the architects, we have a great living space that feels much larger than the actual square footage. We have lots of natural light, and a design that accomodates our lifestyle needs, and favored pieces of furniture. The use of many pocket doors lends to a more open feeling. The architects successfully incorporated an entry, living space , dining space and generous kitchen all within one open area. The kitchen is graciously defined from the other areas by the use of an island with a stone counter top that is a well planned piece of custom cabinetry looking like furniture. The apartment also includes a master bedroom with walk-in closet, two full bathrooms, workroom/computer room/second bedroom and laundry area. We have a wonderful feeling of individuality.
We highly recommend Don as someone who works well with other professionals in the building process but remains the staunch advocate for his client. We appreciated his ever patient guidance and explanations through sometimes tedious issues. He carefully stated options and presented them in a neutral way for us to make the final decision. He was very attentive and responsive to our budget and schedule. His expertise guided and expedited our transition from a large suburban home to a retirement community apartment and we couldn't be happier.

The finished product exceeded all expectations. The design is excellent. That is not only the opinion shared by the owners, but also by the many neighbors and passers-by that saw the corner lot porch before and after the addition. Comments consistently were about the beauty of the addition, and a common comment has been “your addition looks like it has always been a part of the house” which is a testament to the Architect’s ability.
