The day of the move, the team calls an hour or so ahead of schedule to tell you they are on their way. The first move went as planned. First they loaded my car onto their transport truck. Then, it was just a bunch of boxes I moved to a storage unit. Basic. Unfortunately, to my underestimation of my household inventory, the last move ran long. However, Tomas (team lead) informed me the potential additional time that would be needed and how much that would add to the bottom line cost. I agreed and they moved forward. (It was a 3 man team. I go with the flat rate option. Always get the extra guy. During the entire move, the team never stopped for a break, slowed down, asked to eat lunch....nothing. And it took over 7 hours. In the cold. From one 3rd floor apartment to the transport truck.  No complaints, no goofing off, just professionals the entire time. At the end of the move, Tomas checked me out in his iPad and sent me an itemized receipt. Tipping is made easy, it's all electronic - no cash. 

The rest of the team, Israel and Daniel were outside in the truck, waiting to show me the empty bed and unloaded my car for verification. They all shook my hand and thanked me for my business. As they were getting ready to drive away, I went to bring in a load of boxes and stuff from my truck, As I was struggling across the parking lot, trying to get up the stairs with 3 suitcases, a box, my purse and iphone. Suddenly, my suitcases, purse, box were being taken off my back and out of my hands; I realized that the guys had turned the truck around, gotten out, and, without saying anything, were making one last trip up the stairs on their own time (still not having eaten lunch or dinner) to help me out. On move day I was called one hour ahead of our appointment to let me know that they were on their way as scheduled. The three person crew arrived exactly when they said they would and could not have been a better group of guys. They were friendly, helpful, efficient, and courteous. These are all great attributes but even more appreciated when elderly people are being moved with care. They took apart a large canopy bed and china cabinet for us and carefully wrapped dressers with plastic wrap.  They were extremely pleasant to work with and friendly to all the curious seniors who were in the neighborhood. The packing service was swift and complete and all packing items were provided by the movers for no extra charge. Well worth not having to do it ourselves as well as placed the cars on the truck for transport. Drive time between properties was Long (about 12 hours) and unloading at the new property was done carefully and with consideration. Afterwards the crew was very thorough in making sure that we were happy and that our needs were met. They were all three P's Prompt, Professional, and Personable. I will not hesitate to use flat price moving and auto transport in the future and recommend them highly.
