Tim and Marc did a great job replacing an old leaky pilot house door that had likely been taking on water long before we had even moved in. The job required taking apart the entire door frame, clearing out and replacing old rotted wood, as well as removing and re-doing some of the outdoor siding, and they were well up to the task. Throughout the process they explained all the existing damage and the work that was to be done to ensure a water-tight seal. The new door frame and door look excellent and we are very happy with the results. Thanks again for your efforts and your attention to detail Tim and Marc + Emerald Windows in general!

The job was to replace two bathroom windows and they arrived on time on the scheduled date, set up quickly and efficiently, and got to work right away. The windows were installed cleanly and look great, the work area was left spotless, and the crew was very personable and accommodating. Excellent job. A++ rating. I had two other estimates from major companies before Emerald. From start to finish Emerald was by far superior to the others. Eric, their sales rep, measured all windows, discussed all my options, and within a few days presented me with three detailed estimates. Eric knows his product and his company inside out and there was no doubt in my mind that I would go with Emerald. He was realistic about the time frame. I ordered at the end of April and the job was completed on July 9th. The installation process was a seamless as Eric said it would be. Foreman, Rahul, and his team, George and Aemeon, arrived on time both days and relentlessly worked until the job was completed. They took such care and were so respectful of me and my home. Eric followed up afterwards. Emerald and its employees are the epitome of honesty and integrity. I will definitely use them again.

I had the 4 front windows of my rowhouse replaced. Juan and his team did an excellent job on all fronts - courteous, conscientious, punctual, cleaned up everything, and did an excellent job. I'm very happy with their work.

Within the last ten years we had Emerald install nine windows but I never got around to giving a review, sorry about that. But actually sometimes the best review is one that comes years after as in this case. Over time, two of the windows had a problem. One was a few years back with a hairline crack in the upper part of the window and the other was more recent, a breach in the space between the double pane. In both cases the window sections in question were replaced with no problems. We have been very happy with the windows and the installation crews as well as Juan, the guy who came out to do the service. He was very respectful of our home and made ever precaution to protect everything around the work area as well as wearing a mask to protect us. He also was able to use one of the security locks from the removed window to fix one that I broke a few years back. Incredible service! Thanks also to Todd and Eric. Highly recommended.

Emerald Windows were professional and responsive during the whole process from sales to installation. The installers arrived on time, were friendly and professional, they maintained a clean work environment during the full installation. They completed the work as promised, providing an excellent window product, on time, with professionalism, and leaving the house clean and outside garden clean and undisturbed. We would highly recommend this company to others with confidence that the job will be completed as promised.

It went well! The door and windows both look beautiful! The quality of work is very good! Louie and Mike were very professional and, aside from doing great work on the door and windows, left not one speck of dirt to clean up afterwards! They covered all the stairs (and there were a lot) with cloth tarps and even brought clean ones the second day. Not only did they do a great job, but they also made sure that all personal items inside the house were covered and protected before the work started, as well as cleaning everything up before they left. Requested a quote for replacing windows on my house that were still original to the house and had not been properly maintained prior to my purchasing the house. Several had been painted shut, or were stuck shut, and I had to fight hard with the couple that I could manage to open. They were also very drafty, with some cracks in the glass, and several were missing the screens and/or storm windows (not that I could open the windows to use them, even if they were there.) Emerald scheduled with me quickly, arrived promptly, explained their recommendations and provided the full estimate within a week of initially meeting with me. When I was unsure about the windows themselves, particularly how the screen would work (to be able to remove for cleaning, etc), they got a sample window with a full screen and brought it out for me to test out. That did take a few weeks, since they didn't have it readily available and had to wait for it to come in, but I was pleased with the service and the demonstration, so I went with them. It ended up being about 11 weeks from the time I accepted their proposal to when the windows got installed, which was a bit longer than had been originally stated (~8 weeks) but understandable since the timeline included the holidays. As for the installation, they were friendly, professional, fast, and did a great job as far as I can tell. They just finished a few hours ago, so still too new to see if there are any issues; if there are, I'll update this review. However, even if there are issues, they've provided excellent service so far so I expect they will continue to.

The project went very well and we were extremely pleased with the estimator and the installers. Initially, I thought we would need to replace the entire window casement as was the recommendation from a couple of the other companies we who give us a bid. Emerald Windows evaluated the casements and said they were solid, did not need replacing and that we should consider only adding new window panes. This strategy saved us a significant amount of money. The installers, Gil and Jared, were extremely professional and did an excellent job of installation and cleanup. Would definitely recommend considering Emerald Windows again for any future projects.

Emerald Windows not only gave us the most competitive bid, which they adhered to even after the job proved much more complicated and time consuming, but they were clearly the most knowledgeable and experienced company that we could silted. Luis, Paul, Todd and the team we’re great to work with, when things went according to plan and in solving problem when it didn’t. We would use them again without a second thought. We are very happy with the end result and the price was fair for a large project.

I went into my experience with Emerald Windows with some concerns. I had to have new windows installed and I knew it wasn’t going to be an easy process. Finding a company, scheduling estimates, and deciding who to choose would be a chore. Emerald gained an advantage with the estimates. Todd, the sales representative, came out and quickly understood what I wanted. When he forwarded the estimate it also included blueprints of what the windows would look like. I’m a very visual person so seeing the two window style options was very helpful and convincing. When the time for my install came I was informed it would take 3 days. I felt overwhelmed. I had to spend 3 days with installers in and out of my home and what if there were complications? I have an enclosed porch with a total of 9 windows that needed to be replaced. These windows are a prominent architectural feature of my home (they reach from the ceiling to about 2 feet from the floor) so I knew something had to go wrong. I was a wreck. However, my experience with the installers could not have gone better. Gil and his crew (Josh and Kevin) arrived on time, explained what their plans were, covered the work area to keep it clean and avoid damaging my floors, and got to work. It was evident from day one that they were skilled and the job went smoothly. However, it wasn’t simply a matter of competence, they made me feel at ease. Gil explained the process to me and answered all my questions. Also, it was clear how much of a perfectionist Gil was from the start. I am NOT easy to please. If I see something I don’t like I say I don’t like it. I never had to tell this crew I didn’t like any of their work. Gil made sure the job was done right, checked, and checked again to make sure it met his satisfaction. On the first day of install neighbors started coming up to watch what was going on. Once they observed what was happening they started asking for business cards. I had neighbors complementing my windows before the job was finished. The final product is spectacular. I am not simply pleased I am impressed. I thought my experience would be stressful but it was a pleasure to have the guys do my windows. There aren’t enough ways for me to say how happy I am with the results. I strongly recommend Emerald Windows and especially recommend their own emerald, Gil.

My experience with Emerald Windows was excellent. From my first contact with Todd Curry to the installation by Tony, Eric and Josh. They were all professional , competent and careful. They also cleaned up after the the work was completed and disposed of the old windows. I would use this company again.

The installation was fantastic. They did a great job, and even a few extras, including removal and disposal of an old (huge) AC unit. Cleaned up everything.

Had a great experience working with Todd. I had many questions and he patiently answered all of them while getting me a quote that seemed very reasonable. His crew was in and out of here very quickly, which is always great when work goes faster than anticipated. I should also note that I had a designated historic house and he took care of the gathering the right permits and only showing me windows that would be approved by the historic committee.

DJ and DJ arrived right on time to install two windows. They were very professional, fast and efficient. They put down drop clothes, removed and replaced the blinds and drapes and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

From start to finish, my experience with Emerald was top notch.  Dealing initially with Jay to installers with the finished product, the team from Emerald were professional, courteous, and very accommodating.  
Emerald easily provided not only the best price (compared to 2 other larger companies), but Jay did not put me through an unbearable and mind-numbing presentation.  Furthermore, unlike the other two companies, Jay never put-down or bashed the other companies.  
I have already contacted Emerald again to replace another room's windows (that I wasn't planning to replace for a little while).  I am excited to have them back and continue the relationship with a great, LOCAL company.

Todd was super helpful and knowledgeable. He even told me things about my old windows that other installers did not. He was thorough and quick to turn around his estimate, which was well below other installers' estimates. When the crew came, they immediately went to work. Gil, who oversaw the project, was detailed in his description of what the men were going to do, and walked us through the various outstanding items. We were extremely impressed and would highly recommend them. FYI they do not do paint.
