PLEASE STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS NIGHTMARE. This business stole a $4,607.71 deposit from me in November 2024. It does not matter how many times I call, it took picketing outside their storefront after 90 days to hear a single word from them. That word was that they never ordered my insert and they no longer have the money I gave them and they are not in a financial position to return my money. Something has changed and this has turned into a criminal operation. I have not seen any money returned from my deposit. They also told me the unit I ordered was not currently available, but the manufacture confirmed that statement to be untrue and I have another dealer installing within 3 weeks of visiting. You will lose your money if you give it to this place - you will get more heat burning those dollars. Look at Google and Yelp - I am not the only one that has been robbed by this company.

I initially had a problem with the fireplace. Unlike many companies Dreifuss made things right. They were able to put in a brand new fireplace which was greatly appreciated. I was very happy with the outcome!

Dreifus was recommended on the Nextdoor website also as the people to see,especially for old homes. The showroom has a choice of available equipment on display, not in a catalog and their installers know what material is current and up to code. It is exactly what we wanted and needed.

They ordered the logs and received them when exactly they thought they would, installed them very neatly and quickly as they had promised, and when I realized that they removed old logs that I wanted to keep, they returned them the next morning neatly boxed. They also helped me remove bolts from the old logs just to be helpful).
The new logs are working well. The company is dependable and the people working for them are not pushy sales people.

Great job! The size of the fireplace opening is not a standard one. The office salesman, Ian, provided me guidance on how to provide an infallible measurement of the opening. He helped me pick a finish that avoided high customizing expenses. The delivery date was dependent on the US manufacturer, but once shipment had been made, the installer Mark arrived for installation precisely on schedule, and completed the job in under an hour. That time included some important safety and maintenance advice. I am very glad I decided to go with a specialized showroom/installation service for this project.

Howard helped me pick out a gas fireplace that was best for my home. Because of weather I couldn't have it installed for a month.On my scheduled date 2 men came over on time.They were extremely professional and went right to work.5 hours later I had a fire blazing in my new fireplace and my house was cleaned up. They walked me through all controls and safety issues.If I have any future questions or issues I feel confident that they would be very helpful.

Approximately 20-years ago we purchased glass doors for our wood burning FP from Dreifuss and were pleased with the service. We had been contemplating converting to gas fire log insert and after doing some research we decided to get a quote from Dreifuss. The sales people were very knowledgeable discussing pros/cons of vented vs. ventless system and their quote was in line with our expectations so we completed the sale. Installation was scheduled at their busiest time of the year and they clearly advised on 3 - 4-weeks lead time; installation was completed within 3-weeks

I did a lot of research on ceramic grills and finally decided on the Big Green Egg (BGE) - which is the best known brand of these grills. The deciding factor for me was that the BGE is only sold through dealers, not over the internet. While I could have saved some money ordering over the internet, those companies use freight shippers and once the product leaves their warehouse, they aren't responsible. Freight companies do not give much notice of delivery and in my case, I live in the city in a rowhouse, so the unit has to be carried through the house to the back yard and assembled. Freight shippers drop at the curb, Ceramic grills are very heavy and so I would have to have other people available to help get the grill to the back and assembled, even though I wouldn't have very much notice of when the grill would arrive. In the end I decided on the BGE and paid extra to have it delivered and assembled. The Dreifuss guys came when they said they would, they were pleasant, professional, they carried it in, assembled it, and cleaned up. They were respectful of my property - were very careful in moving it through the house - and did a fast and excellent job. I had a great experience with the company and when i saw the pieces that needed assembly, I knew I made the right decision to have Dreifuss put it together.

We picked out the log set at their showroom and scheduled installation. The selection was nice and the logs appeared to be better quality than the typical set from one of the big home centers. Installation went smoothly. Installer showed up on the right day and at the right time. He set up the set and instructed me on its operation. The logs look great.

Dreifuss has a professional no-nonsense staff. Pre-sales support was excellent and they have many models in their showroom. Installation ($375 of above amount) was scheduled for two weeks later. They showed up on time, were neat and attentive to detail. They took the time to teach me how to use and care for the fireplace. They were cleaned up and gone in under two hours.

Great, no problems with the installation. The sales team at the office wasn't as professional as most, but I got exactly what I wanted for a little bit more than what I expected to pay. If the price had been better and the salesman a bit more polished, then I would have no problem giving the company an A.
