Done Right Roofing

Gave us a quote on paper for $4300 for having the ceiling done in my home. Gave him $2000 cash for supplies and he signed the proposal.

I want my deposit of 1,000.00 returned and I want this vendor removed from your list of approved vendors so they can't prey on other senior citizens

Rubber Roof was over coated and shows signs of dipping, steps where not replaced and the crack block leading to the entry door was patched not replaced.

On 11/30/24, Saturday, Done Right Roofing came to my home to give me an estimate to resurface my pool deck. For $2800.00 they said they would power wash the house, patio, roof, driveway, all concrete where needed AND they would start right then. They said they would be back on Sunday and would finish up on Monday. I was impressed with the men, as well as Harvey, whom I spoke with over the phone. Everything sounded fine and the men started to work. After three hours, the men said they were done for the day and asked for some money to buy supplies. I wrote a check for $1400.00. I have not seen them again My check was cashed. They also said they were going to do the lanai and put a new drain.

Hey contacted me through Angi and then called me. We agreed on a price of 10,500.00 for a roof, repair the siding, and paint the whole house. They came on Sunday pressure, washed the house, and took a sample of the siding. Sunday morning, he called me and said he was gonna rip up the check because my neighbor got involved and that the bank was gonna hold a check for seven days and he wanted cash instead. Being from Michigan I did not have 2500 in cash, but my stepdaughter did and transferred the money to him via Velle. He told me he could not match up the siding and we decided to reside the one side of the house and that the material would be in Wednesday and there would be workers here. No one showed up and he would not answer my calls or return my call or my text.

The initial contact was on 11/25/24. The contractor from Done Right Roofing responded to my outreach to Ang's list. Where I laid out the work that was needed and the price that we agreed upon was $500. The contractor arrived on 11/26/24 upon leaving. He received $500 and said a receipt and the pictures he showed. My brother regarding the work he did would be emailed to me. I asked if he laid the tarp. He assured me the job was done so well. The tarp was not needed. On 11/27/24 which was Thanksgiving Day. We had heavy rains that lasted for hours and the poor work was evident by the significant damage to the roof and the ceiling where the work was supposed to have been done. I consequently had a series of contacts via text messages and phone attempts throughout that time up until Monday when I made attempts to get the contractor to return to resolve the issues. The contractor finally returned by call on 11/30/24 where he said he received the pictures and he would send the contractor back out to fix the problem. The contractor never arrived. The contractor never called after repeated attempts to make outreach. I have yet to hear back from the contractor to get a resolution to this problem. This has led me to the next step of filing a formal complaint.

Contacted them to do a drywall job. Gave them a deposit and they proceeded to block communication and never show up for the job. Do not use these scammers

On 11/30/24, the contractor referred through Angi came to my residence to look at my driveway to make repairs. After talks about replacing the asphalt driveway, he agreed to do the job and said he'd start the next day Sunday 12/1, and complete work on Monday 12/2. I agreed and he then asked for a 1,000 deposit. I immediately sent it through Cash App. Two hours later, he called and asked for another 1,000 because he was ordering supplies. I then sent another 1,000 as requested. On Sunday 12/1, the contractor didn't show up as promised, nor did he call. The contractor finally sent a text after I had called multiple times, and he said "The job will be done tomorrow ". The next day Monday 12/2, still no show and no call. I was waiting, I wanted to be at home while the work was being done. Now days after I've paid 2,000 of my hard-earned money, I've yet to get a call explaining why my driveway isn't completed or even started, as agreed. This behavior from this contractor is very upsetting. I've requested my money be returned through Cash App as it was paid. Zero response from the contractor.

THE REST OF THE JOB WAS PAID FOR IN CASH AND CREDIT CARD. ENTIRE JOB WAS OVERPAID FOR. THE CONTRACTOR WAS NOT RELIABLE AND WELL AS ATTEMPTED TO TAKE LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY FROM MY CREDIT CARD.

Absolutely a scammer? stay away. Once we put down deposit of $800, did not show up and stopped communicating with us the next day. Bad bad bad?

Be careful with this scammer ! He took my money and ran away with $15000. The contract he sent me , which we both singed described many things to do? he is very professional how to trick people ? . He sent two guys swiped the roof with broom and paint with cheap paint and left less than hour I think .when I checked later nothing has been fixed. When I tried to called him for both numbers he blocked me out .be ware ,everyone! I don?t understand how people like this can sleep well after taking money from someone who works hard for it .

No work was started after I paid the full amount of $2,000 as requested by Done Right Roofing one of the two numbers blocked me or was disconnected, and in the second number, all messaging and verbal communication has gone unanswered.

My roof was leaking they coated my roof no more leaks and it was quick very nice people

Job was done quickly and looks great I'm was really satisfied with the services
