DONALD CLARK

I got Donald's name from Angie's list and called him for an estimate. We needed our house painted before putting it up for sale, so time was of the essence. He gave us an estimate, several thousand lower than another painter, so we scheduled a start date. The week before the start date, we needed to confirm and go over some details, buy the paint etc. But he wouldn't return our calls. We called 4 days in a row. By the time he called back 5 days later, we'd already gone with the other painter. Told him that we had to go with someone we could talk to and would return our calls. (He did not do the work, but I submitted his estimate because the website requires a figure.)

DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS FOR ESTIMATES.

HE EXPLAINED TO US WHICH WAS REQUIRED. REQUESTED THAT WE LEAVE THE HOUSE WHEN THE CEILING WAS DONE. COMPLETED THE JOB TO OUR SATISFACTION IN A PROFESSIONAL WAY. CLEANED UP EACH DAY AFTER JOB WAS FINISHED.

HE EXPLAINED WHAT THE JOB WOULD ENTAIL, THE AMOUNT OF INCONVENIENCE THAT WOULD OCCUR AND THE TIME REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE JOB. HE SHOWED UP PROMPTLY EACH DAY AND WORKED THE AMOUNT OF HOURS EACH DAY THAT HE SAID HE WOULD. HE CLEANED UP AFTER EACH DAY.
