Carpet Cleaning
My contractor told me he could get me a great deal on carpet cleaning from DC carpet care and I was excited about it. After reading the one review here on Angie's list, I immediately expressed concern to my contractor. Even though I was not concerned about DC carpet care stealing because my apartment was empty, I was in general concerned about the company because I couldn't find ANY other reviews on them. I insisted that I keep the company I had scheduled, but my contractor assured me everything would be OK. Well, it surely was NOT OK. Even after confirming 1 day prior to their scheduled cleaning time, DC carpet care NEVER showed up on the day/time scheduled, NEVER answered the phone, and NEVER returned my calls. I strongly suggest everyone to NEVER call them. I had my move scheduled for the next day and had to push everything back in order to get another company to come out last minute and clean my carpets before I moved in. Always trust your instincts and never use DC carpet care.

Horrible!
To this day I still haven't gotten my wedding rings back and can't afford to buy more. My homeowners gave an estimate of almost $10,000 to my rings, but the max they can pay is $1,000.00. This doesn't even come close to recovering my rings. My heart bleeds for my loss.
Be very careful when choosing a Carpet Cleaning company. They just might clean more than your carpets.

"The owner cooperated with police and detectives immediately, upon hearing of the "allegations". The owner also went to several pawn shops to attempt to locate the missing ring. While cooperating with police and detectives, the case is still unfounded. Also, the alleged technicain was terminated from the company as a result of the allegations. DC Carpet Care has handled over 10,000 jobs and while we regret something like this has happened, there is no evidence showing the technician or DC Carpet Care had anything to do with this incident. DC Carpet care values every customer and handles all issues immediately and fairly. Our customers are like family and treated as such. We have many referrences from small residential homes, to apartment complexes, to doctors offices, to lawyers offices, to restaurants, to retail customers, to bowling centers and many more. Dave is a family man with 3 children and is a hard worker and has prided himself on taking care of every customer. If they are not happy, which doesn't happen ofter, he sends the techs back to do the job right and to the customer satisfaction at no additional charges and refunds their money for their time."
