The original quote was $1,100. They did not have my goods. They did not know where they were or when they were being delivered. They changed how they wanted to charge. They were supposed to pack ahead of time, they never did. The contract said I could pay with a credit card, they would not accept that. I asked them why it was so much more than the estimate. I added in more items and he said that the estimate was all off. I was able to write a check. They did the estimate blindly. The cost was supposed to include packing, I was told that it would arrive on a certain date, it did not. A different company ended up delivering it. They were supposed to unpack everything. They would not unload the truck unless I paid him in cash. He damaged several pieces including something valued $1,300. They left the trash in the front yard. They used a subcontractor, I ended up dealing with 2 or 3 different companies. A product that was going to cost me $2,000 to repair they only offered me $100 for that. I never resolved it. They would not take calls for customer service, just sales. I got in contact with a mediation company they recommended. They never returned my calls. The insurance company was in Florida. It seemed like a ponzie scheme. They broke the washing machine, I had to replace that. I even sent them an estimate to repair my table.
