My husband and I spoke with a number of agents by phone before deciding to work with Carol. We were first time home buyers and also new to Philadelphia, and we wanted to find a realtor who would not take advantage of our lack of experience in both respects. From the start, Carol was incredibly patient, honest and friendly and we hit the ground running. We saw a number of houses, some at the higher end of our price range, but Carol was meticulous in helping us assess potential issues with the house honestly. When we eventually found the house that met our needs, Carol was responsive and supportive throughout the entire process of inspection and negotiation with the sellers. Through her years of experience in the industry and this area, Carol has a great network of real estate-adjacent industry experts and professionals, and we ended up relying on her recommendations from everyone from her our mortgage lender to plumbers and electricians. We have now been in our new house for six months and couldn't be happier to recommend Carol as a realtor.

Carol is truly great to work with! She advised us on how to prep our home for sale and how to market it - and she was spot on! Carol Diament is by far the best real estate agent! PERIOD! As a result of job change, we again had to figure out how we were going to sell our property. Since Carol had done a great job finding us the house 6 years ago, it was obvious that Carol would be our seller's agent. I cannot begin to say how challenging that process was, especially the stress of having to moving far away, but Carol did the most unbelievable thing: She was able to keep our house on the market and ensured that every little fix was settled. Despite a lot of hurdles that came with selling a house, she kept us informed and guided our decision making. Every choice she made ended up netting us more than if we had decided to not follow her recommendations. We feel very lucky that we had such a wonderful real estate agent, and I will forever owe a debt of gratitude for the incredible selfless work she did in making sure we got the best deal. I wish I had someone like Carol to help me with my new home search in my new city!

It went well. Carol started out asking us what our criteria were (location, price, size, etc.), picking locations based on this and providing us a lot of different houses and condos to look at. We decided which ones we liked and which ones to trash and she got a better idea of what we were looking for and sent listings more tailored to what we liked. She provided us many listings to review. After 3 months, we set up some time to go to the different neighborhoods and look at our selected listings. We ended up finding what we were looking for after a full weekend of house and condo visits. Carol helped us to negotiate the offer, and after it was accepted, to navigate the process and paperwork required. Not painless, but less painful than normal. She was there all the way through the closing. She also helped to get all the answers to the questions we had. She is very professional and provides a high level of service. I would definitely use her again.

There are not enough great things to say about Carol! She was attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and always worked with our best interest in mind. Carol was available both day and night, accommodating our (sometimes tricky) schedules. She truly went above and beyond her duties, reaching out to contractors for estimates on our behalf and meeting them at the house. When we ran into some issues with the seller, she fought to get us what we deserved. She has even offered to bring over her shop vac when we discovered water in our basement. We wholeheartedly recommend Carol to anyone looking for an experienced and honest realtor, as well as a very kind and fun person to work with. My husband and I highly recommend Carol Diament. As new residents in Philadelphia and first-time homeowners, we wanted an experienced realtor who was very familiar with the Philadelphia market and neighborhoods. Carol was this and much more. She was both supportive and patient as we visited many homes and gained clarity about what we wanted in our first-home. We never felt like Carol tried to push us to settle for a home that we liked, and because of this, we ended up finding a home that we loved in our preferred neighborhood. Whenever going to see houses with Carol, it felt as if I was meeting up with a dependable family member, which was especially nice given the fact that my husband often couldn't join me because he was traveling for work. She was quick to get back to us about scheduling home visits, providing comps, and answering our questions, even taking time from her vacation to check in with us about next steps after our offer was accepted. Carol’s excellent negotiation skills shined when we reached an impasse during negotiations after the home inspection. Carol did her homework and was able to lay out the facts regarding my property, it's value, comprable properties nearby and other factors to help me make a decision. She was even able to recommend ways to increase value and others in her network that could potentially assist me in making a final decision. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful even when it seemed I may not sell which meant no immediate return on her investment in the consultation. I'd recommend Carol to anyone who is thinking about selling their home.
