In the case of Barry's work in my home, there was a sizable hole that was packed with putty adjacent to the main stack and in an area where he had completed work. The hole was significant and could have easily been seen by the naked eye. Even if it had been missed, had water been run through the pipes to test the repairs that he made, he would have immediately noticed the leak at which time we would have discussed further repairs. However, he did not run the water through to test his work, even after I asked him to do so. Instead, the leak was discovered when I used the sink that he had reattached for me, to which he said: “You ran the water in the sink for too long.” The leak caused further damage to my ceiling and drywalls which had just been repaired, along with significant damage to my couch and floors through your negligence. I paid 3000.00 for repairs that were done incorrectly. I am seeking monetary compensation for the damage done to my property caused by his negligence, including but not limited to plumbing repairs, reimbursement for the reinstallation of the sink and vanity that you were already paid for, replacement of bathroom flooring, dry wall, and ceiling that were damaged again, repair to downstairs flooring, and replacement of my couch. Receipts/estimates will be made available upon request.

The owner is Barry. I have used his company multiple times over 10-15 years. He always calls back promptly, as he did this time. I asked 2 days ahead for a Friday appointment, and he accommodated that request. He arrived when he said he would, and fixed both the toilet and a/c condensate pump. When he removed the pump, he found one of the pipes to it was broken and fixed that , too. He was polite, and cleaned up well. I felt the price was fair for the job done.
I have also used this company at my business in Mt. Airy. On at least two occasions Barry or one of his staff went "the extra mile" to get a job done. Once was when there was a problem with a leak that required getting into the wall to find it. A previous plumber company was unsuccessful, but Aqualtiy did the job, getting plenty dirty to do it. Another time when the drainage from the building was clogged: I recall seeing Barry, the owner of this company, standing in the rain at street side to help get the clog unclogged. He was soaked, but also successful.
I highly recommend this company.

We had to wait though barrow had to find the main outlet and we are having snowstorm and the ground was frozen. They have always called me back within 15 minutes.If I call them, they are always on time, they clean up well after themselves and the main reason that I used them without a review because I had a plumber who was so good and when I called him, he recommended this company because he was a friend of his and I know he's good, he does a good job, I never had him come back and redo anything. Having somebody who's reliable and does a good job as they do, I probably pay any price. Price is not my primary and I just know that they're doing a good job. We were also always in contact with each other.

This was not the first time that I hired AQuality to do plumbing repairs in my home. I have always been extremely happy with their work, and today was no exception.
My water heater started leaking on Thanksgiving. I called on Friday and Saturday as we worked through
getting a time set for the replacement. Both times, Barry returned my call within minutes.
20 years ago I replaced my first water heater, and a 30 gallon tank was installed. Barry pointed out that we
could replace it with a 40 gallon tank and save $100.00. The crew just left a few minutes ago and I must say that I was impressed with the relatively short time that the project took from start to finish.
AQuality comes highly recommended for the fine work that they do, promptness and courtesy.

He came and fixed it. We are very pleased. It only took him a couple of hours. Our bathtub was leaking.

They were prompt and professional. They are available during emergency situations.

I used Angie's List to contact two other plumbers to get the price on installing a 40 gallon gas water heater. Barry from AQuality was a little cheaper ($870.00 versus $925.00). In the end, Barry also replaced the plastic overflow pan with a metal one. The older model water heaters sat in the pan on feet. The newer ones don't have feet so it is better to have a metal pan holding the water heater. While he was here I asked him to also repair a leaky faucet. He had a replacement cartridge and quickly fixed the leak. The final cost was $1030 which included the pan, cartridge, and any additional labor. I should mention that Barry also installed the older heater being replaced. I got 12 years out of a heater with a 10 year extended warranty. On the day that I made the appointment for Barry to come and install the new heater, he had access to his records and could tell me the date of installation of the old heater and the date that the extented warranty expired. So, he is organized. I should mention that the problem that we were experiencing was a lack of hot water. At best, the water was warm and sometimes cool. There were no leaks. I have also used Barry to replace a garbage disposal and to install a new dish washer. So, we have a 12 year working relationship and I have no complaints.
