Prompt call back the night after we submitted our claim to our home warranty contract provider. Aqua gave a time frame when they would be out between 9-12. They called to say when they were on their way!  Nick and Michelle arrived and were professional and did a great job. I saw that another reviewer complained about the fee charged for the permit but I rather pay to let them handle the permit and get the job done on the spot then have to wait to get the permit myself and go through the hassle and also be without hot water. Cold showers are not fun!  They were upfront about the permit fee and also made sure our hot water heater was up to code. The last one was from 1991 so we needed some safety upgrades and the price to do that was very reasonable.  I would use their services in the future. I have more plumbing jobs on my list and I will call Aqua . Thanks Aqua...good customer service is hard to find in the home improvement/service industry...and you met my expectations!  The call to say you were on your way...exceeded my expectations!

We were connected with Aqua through our home warranty company (AHS) when we reported our water heater appeared to be leaking. The replacement was approved and we were responsible for the township permit fees ($325) as well as the service fee ($60). Upon reading another review and checking our township's permits website, the "permit fees" is clearly where Aqua is making their money on home warranty jobs. We opted to simply pay the fee. 
As this is a home warranty job, we did not have any input on the replacement (model or energy efficiency) - a comparable model was selected for us (50 gal, electric). Being a new water heater, I expect it will be more energy efficient than our previous heater (from the early 90s). 
Aqua was prompt in returning our call, scheduling the evaluation, and installing a new water heater. Overall a positive experience.

We did receive a new hot water heater that was installed properly.

They were prompt and professional. Their answers to question are helpful.

Good Service, prompt courteous  service. In and out in a couple of hours, including time spent getting the faucet.

Jason called to set up an appointment. He came within the time frame. He looked at my water heater, confirmed it was leaking and needed to be replaced. Since the unit was so old, pipes needed to be brought up to code. Unfortunately for Jason, things did not go as planned. He went out to get the water heater and appropriate pipes. The original shut off valve kept leaking. So out went Jason again to get the appropriate valve. I really felt bad for him. The space he had to work in was small and cramped plus the fact he had problems with the original pipes and had to go out twice. Jason never complained. He cleaned up afterwards. In fact, the place is cleaner than when he came! (NO comments on my housekeeping skills, please!) He was very respectful to the rest of my house and even called on the phone because he didn't want to track dirt inside! Again, Jason did a GREAT job and went above AND beyond what I had expected.

AQUA PLUMBING DID A FAIR JOB IN REPLACING HOT WATER HEATER. THEY COVERED THE COST BECAUSE THEY RIPPED OUR FLOOR WHILE TAKING OUT OLD HOT WATER HEATER. DID NOT WAIT FOR OLD HOT WATER HEATER TO DRAIN ALL THE WAY AND LEAKED WATER ALL OVER.
