Alex provided excellent same day service and replaced a seized blower motor from our furnace. He drove from Center City to Bensalem to get the needed replacement motor and during that time cleaned the fan unit. The AC and Heat is now running extremely well. I would absolutely recommend Alex to my friends and family and I would definitely use his services again.

I have a very, very, very old furnace that needed a tune-up at the end of fall, and then another maintenance visit a few months later. Not only did Alex do a great job during each visit, but he also explained what he was doing so that I could become more knowledgeable about my furnace. Additionally, I felt very comfortable with him in my house (which isn't always the case with contractors and other in-home service providers). He's definitely my go-to for any furnace-related issues.

They came right out with in an hour and got it fixed in 45 minutes. The cost was only $89 and I will definitely use them again.

Alex was early for our appointment. He tuned up the AC to get it running properly again and refilled the coolant. He also noticed that the unit was missing a key component that blocks air from entering the unit. He called Goodman AC and explained the problem and was able to get them to ship the part we needed at no extra charge. Alex is very professional and I have already recommended him to friends and family and would 100% use his services again.

I was very happy with the quality of the work and the price. A nice touch - it was raining and the technician automatically took off his shoes when he came in.

Quick and successful.

Alex and his crew got to work and the job on my house was done within a week--just in time for summer. My house feels like an icebox. I love it. No demolition was required. I have central air on the first 2 floors of the house, which is controlled by a thermostat, and on the 3rd floor (my bedroom and office) I have 2 mini splits that work beautifully and efficiently. Additionally, the products that Alex used for the install come with a 10 year warranty. For the last 2 years I've been soliciting HVAC quotes for my home and studio. It was the same every time--either the price was way too high, or the price was reasonable but the company was too busy to make any time for my project. I thought I would be soliciting quotes for the rest of my earthly existence. Then one day I came across Aktion Air on angie's list, and within 2 weeks I had HVAC in my home AND my recording studio, all at a fair price, with service from a group of incredibly efficient and kind professionals who were truly proud of the work they were doing for me. Aktion Air rocks.

He couldn't do much for the water heater but did confirm that it was working properly. He tuned and tested the boiler and looked at each radiator to make sure they were working properly.

Amazing. Alex's first visit was at 8pm at night to work around our schedule, and he and his team worked very quickly and diligently on a complex job that had some big complications (including spiral stairs!). They did not want to leave until we had heat. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Perfect. Professional, friendly service. Alex realized that the filter I had been using was the wrong size, allowing dirt, pet fur, etc., to flow around the filter and collect on the coils, preventing air flow. He is not the only HVAC guy who has ever looked at my system, but he was the only one who noticed this. After replacing necessary parts and cleaning the coils the air flow is perfect! Will definitely hire again and recommend.

Alex was probably the most reliable contractor I've ever hired. I called on a Sunday morning and he made arrangements to come the same day to take a look at the problem. He arrived right on time and was able to expertly diagnose the issue. He also identified a potential hazard from when the unit was originally installed. He removed the broken part, took it with him to exchange for a new one and returned the next day with the new fan and fixed the unit. I would highly recommend him for his dependability and expertise.

Very well. The house is a narrow lot rowhome with tight spaces within utility runs and existing walls. Previous alterations and remodels had created several problems, compromising the original central air system and cutting off air flow to 2 bedrooms and the kitchen. Alex did a great job in finding best solutions to restore air flow in a manner that still let us open up the ground floor while also leaving room for plumbing lines to a future bathroom. Not an easy feat in our very narrow home. He sent pictures throughout installation process as I could not be on-site during the work which helped us refine solutions when questions came up. I highly recommend both his diligence and his willingness and ability to communicate.

Alex arrived promptly and was very professional. Above all, he was honest. Did not try to sell me anything. Told me that my unit was recently serviced and cleaned and did not need that. Told me my dryer vent was clogged up which I didn't even bother to check. I value honesty above all and would hire him again. A couple days later...no more pooling of water. We'll see how it goes but so far so good..knock on wood.

My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received from Alex of Aktion Air. He gave us the most reasonable price for the most efficient cooling and heating system. Alex showed up on time, stayed until he finished his work, was a clean worker, and returned promptly to complete additional work for us as he promised. He considered the best options for our center city home where it is difficult to get cool air to the third floor. Because of him we now have a quality system that was properly installed with greater efficiency. We highly recommend his services for your heating and air conditioning needs.

It went extremely well. Alex punctually came out and went to the top of the roof and discovered that the AC needed Freon. It was leaking due to bad caps. he replaced both. The air is now working well. He was able to take a credit card payment through Square which impressed me because normally small businesses are still behind the times in tech. He was amazing and I will definitely use him again if need be.

I originally requested an A/C inspection for my system.   Alex arrived promptly and on on time.    He inspected the system and took in my concerns regarding the operation of the system.  One of my complaints was the loudness of the fan on my system.  He agreed that it was very loud.   We talked about options and he recommended to replace the fan with a much more quieter one.   The fan was a little pricey but in the end was well worth it.   I'm amazed at how quiet the system runs now.    Very happy with the service he provided and will definitely use him again.
