Great job, they removed the old roof and replaced it the same day and did a pretty job of cleanup as well. We would totally recommend them to others, the only inconvenience was tracking them down to provide payment. Clearly they're very busy these days.

DS Fitz was great to work with. They had the most reasonable quote and stayed exactly on budget, even with adding some additional vents to the roof to improve attic circulation. They completed the work quickly and left everything very clean afterward.

I am very pleased with the roof and all of the attention to detail that went into it. The job was explained in an understandable manner at the outset and the workers took care of my concerns during the project. Work was skilled and efficient. Given that I am known to be a picky person, with a little experience with roofing, I am completely satisfied with the roof I received. Clean up afterward was very good.

DS Fitz did an excellent job on my home. The entire process was professional and timely. The owner Sean reached out to me after a major hail storm where my siding had major damage. From the start he was very hands on and helped me navigate issues with my insurance carrier. Additionally, he continued to follow up and checked on me during the entire ordeal. He showed me that he truly cared about helping my family. Moreover, he patiently waited several months for me to save up the money due to the insurance company reluctance to pay for the entire siding. During the job, his crew worked fast and efficiently and addressed all my request. All in all, I am very pleased with the final product. Everything went very well & the roof is beautiful. Handled some problem areas in an excellent manner and did some extra custom wood work on the outside of a dormer which matches the others perfectly. Hardworking crew & cleaned up very well. Did not ask for any money in advance. Have recommended them multiple times.

The team at DS Fitz Roofing were excellent to work with. I interacted with both owners of the company many times and they were extremely down-to-earth, friendly, practical, and responsive. They were flexible with the scope of the project, giving me reasonable and accurate estimates for various siding repairs and different options for the roofing repair itself. They were able to quickly get me in their schedule (<1 month from initial estimate) and they finished their work on-time without any issues. Would highly recommend them to friends and family. As background, I contracted them for a full asphalt shingle roof replacement, replacement of underlying decking, and repairs to 4 sheets of siding that had been damaged in the Summer of 2019.

Completed roof in 1 day

Amazing. Crew showed up early and got done what should have taken 2 days at least in one full day. Soe slight adjustments were needed and supervisor was ready to help, reachable and handled them immediatly. Worked with me and the insurance company directly to make sure everything was taken care of and the additional repairs needed that were missed by the insurance agent were accounted for/paid as part of the claim. I will be going to DS Fitz roofing for any further roofing needs on multiple properties in the future.

I'm extremely satisfied. The roof looks great, and I know I got it for a good price. I would definitely look to this company for future projects.

Great. Sean was wonderful to work with, and the work came in as quoted. The job was completed a week earlier than expected and was great. Still finding nails though, which is to be expected when you replace a whole roof. Not nearly as many as they picked up, that's for sure. They magnetically roll the lawn and flower beds too.

Within one week Ben of DS Fitz had a new roof put on my mother's home -- all done in frigid weather in February. Ben was very responsive. His workmanship was topnotch. The crew was very professional. Thank you, Ben, and DS Fitz.

Sean stopped in to provide an estimate to repair flashing. Work needed to be done per inspection report to sell home. It was a small job and Sean did it right then. So glad not to have to make an appointment for him to return.

It went very well. The time from the estimate to the work being done was a couple of weeks. The price was lower than anybody else. I would recommend them.

I hired Fitz to do a full roof replacement on my house in Mt Washington and I could not have been happier. He gave me a very fair estimate so I hired him. The job wasn’t done very quickly and efficiently. The job site was fully cleaned afterwards and the roof looks and holds up great. I now rent that house and live in Brookline where I needed a new roof before I moved in. I did not hesitate to call them again and as hard as it is to believe, they were even better than before with showing up exactly when they told me and got the job done to perfection. I have spread the word to anyone looking for a roof replacement of fix & everyone has been as pleased as I am... simply the best roofers in Allegheny County. I am a small business owner myself and the attention to detail, reliability and consistency is why I’ll only refer Fitz in the future.

Very responsive throughout the whole process. Actually answer the phone personally the first time and then responded to all my calls and texts and very timely fashion unlike other companies I had been getting bids from. I had a great experience with DS Fitz Roofing. They did a great job on the roof and my yard is clean and free of debris. The workers were very professional and respectful of our property. You never know what kind of characters you will get when you hire roofers, but these guys were great. They were punctual and finished in two days. Great price too. I called a few roofers i found on angie's list, and Sean was the quickest to respond. Even though this is the busy season he recognized that I needed a roof quickly. In fact, during his inspection he did a temporary repair to stop leaks from occurring and refused any type of payment. This he did before knowing if i would end up giving him my business. His price was competitive, and once i decided to go with him it ended up matching the final cost. No surprise extra charges. Four days after the estimate his team was on my roof transforming things. The weather was not very cooperative, and it took a few days to complete, but in the end all of the mess was cleaned up and the roof looks amazing and obviously professionally done. It is such a relief to feel confident that this roof will hold up for as long as i live in this house. Sean made sure to register me for the 50 year warranty offer by the product manufacturer, GAF. All i can say is i lucked out because Sean's team was so hardworking, detailed, and professional-and Sean was honest and fair with me throughout every step of the process. Going into this process i certainly wasn't thrilled about having to shell out nearly 5000 bucks. Now that it is done i feel confident that it was money well spent that will provide me a good return for the next few decades. I am grateful to the team at DS Fitz Roofing.

Sean Fitzwilliam came highly recommended by a mutual friend so we requested an estimate. He came out in a timely manner and the estimate was reasonable. We scheduled a time several months in advance and picked a shingle color. The crew arrived as expected and finished the job within a few days. Due to manufacturer error in delivery of materials, the wrong shingle type was initially used but Sean fixed the issue at no additional charge. As a result, the job took one day longer than expected. As a bonus, some of the crew did us a huge favor by hanging an owl nest box in a tree on the property that we didn't have a tall enough ladder to do ourselves. I am very glad to endorse DS Fitz for a job well done.

Great, the job was done when they said it would be. They cleaned up, and very respectful! My neighbors had a different company for their roof and I found a mess in my yard. Even though I seen the workers in my yard they didn't clean up like the company I had. I highly recommend them for any services they may provide.

At the time, I was in the process of moving out and preparing my home to go on the market. I contacted DS Fitz to complete an estimate for soffit and fascia and gutter installation. They completed the estimate and had the work done in such a timely manner that it didn’t hold me up with the rest of the renovation. They were very responsive and professional.
