Not well. When you don't approve of how something was done he becomes very disagreeable and arrogant. My husband didn't like how the end pieces on our front porch where done and asked to have it changed. It was down hill from there. Luckily shingles from the main roof flew off before the job was done and he had to repair them. Then when my husband told him the water was running behind the new gutter, he replied no F------ way. When asked if he was going to replace some rotted wood pieces on the side of the upper roof (which we thought were included in the price & would have paid extra if not) he replied call a carpenter, which is what we thought he was.

refuse!The roof was  replaced in 2010 by Thomas Killoran.  Great worker and had time to answer questions about the goings ON.   
Thomas Killoran removed the roof with NO Mess to my yard or plantings next to house.  Extended the eves to improve ventilation (actic temp dropped 15 degrees  ) and added Ice dam underlay where necessary.  Gutters were added and the water flowed from high end to low end without puddles.  A leaf grand was also installed.  (Last roofer install new gutter, and it came OFF with first snow storm and Ice dams)
High picked roof was done in metal seamed roofing to keep my Isoscilicate insulated roof.  It looks beautiful, but is noisy like any metal roof.  In the winter of 2014 I had some strange noises from the metal roof.  M5. Killoran cam out in March 2014 and investigated.  Pounded on all standing seam panel, check for loose panel and found nothing but a dent from falling tree crap.
Problems with previous roof and roofer:  Roof added in 1992, with extra costs for ventilation to keep roof cool.  Had ice dams every year that I had snow over 6 inches.  Roof leaked when installed. Repair job, GE silicon rubber!  Kept getting nails in tires on the yard for three years later. Company from King Of Prussia.PA.
