We went with Quality Water and Well at the recommendation of our realtor when buying a house. They did the well inspection and put in a new well cap and uv filtration system when the water showed a small amount of bacteria. The previously owner covered all of the water related costs, so we had very little contact with the company prior to settlement. A few months into home ownership we had some problems with the uv. I contacted them and got an immediate response, they replaced the light the next morning along with addressing a few other minor things that they had no obligation to fix. I am delighted with the level of service. They were responsive, professional and most importantly stood behind their work. I give this company my highest recommendation.
Description of Work: Came and serviced a UV filtration system that they installed prior to our purchase of the home.

Woke up to no water in the house. It was extremely cold and I thought the pipe from the well froze. Some DIY investigation proved that false. I called Quality and Mark and crew were there as soon as they were done with the job they were on. Very nice guys, very high quality work throughout. I would them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Mark and crew pulled my well pump, replaced it and the wires and pipe. My water tank was very old and I had them replace it while they were there.

I called Quality Water (Marc) and (other well companies) described what was happening and that I wanted a straight forward, long term solution. Marc suggested eliminating the well pit entirely because he suspected the water infiltration was under it and running along the casing. Also, he pointed out we had a galvanized feed pipe to the house, which he said we could try to slip a pex sleeve in to to keep it from closing up in the future, run a new line or just leave it, knowing it will fail sometime in the future. We opted to replace the water feed pipe while we had everything dug up. We excavated around the well pit, it was big enough for an adult to get in it through a man hole. Pulled out the concrete box and he was right, you could see where the water was entering the well, running down the outside of the casing. Marc then extended the well head up above grade, put a "plug" around it and made sure the new well head cap would be level with the new patio to be put around it. The new well head and seals have been aggressively tested by hurricane Sandy and a serious of severe storms we had this year. No water infiltration that I could see and no brown water.
Description of Work: My well was being contaminated by surface water getting down in to the well around the well casing. Especially bad when it rained and water turned chocolate brown even though we have UV light and sediment filters on the system. Every time it rained even slightly heavy, I had put everyone on bottled water and showers and baths had to be taken else where until things cleared up. The original well service company kept blaming a bad sump pump, then it was a seal, then it was somehting else. Nothing resolved the issue. It just flet like they just wanted to keep selling me something instead of figuring out what the problem was and fixing it. To make matters more difficult the well head was in a concrete box (5' x 5') below grade and was only 8 ft from the back of the house.
