Great help in the design phase, carried it out even better than expected.

Went very well. His designs showed that he listened to what we wanted...but also came back with ideas and suggestions that improved our initial thoughts. We get compliments all the time on our patio area.

I'm very satisfied with all of the work that was done. His estimates are fair and accurate. His tree advice is thoughtful: sometimes pruning was recommended over removal, which resulted in cost savings. The work is done in a timely manner and clean up is thorough. His design work is creative as well as thoughtful - mindful of materials, aesthetics and costs. His masonry and stonework is precise and artful - he is very aware of local historical and artisanal references and incorporates them into the design. My home is historic and the hardscaping was designed to look as timeless as the existing structures. Savage is collaborative in the work process and was flexible with small changes that were requested. The work was executed on time and on budget. Savage and his crew are punctual, respectful, unintrusive, well-mannered and NEVER left a mess - the site was always cleaned up at the end of each day - they were a pleasure to have around. I had quite a big mess on the property after Sandy and Savage worked with me and the insurance company to get my place cleaned up and back to where it was before the storm. I plan to continue to engage Savage and his crew in ongoing work and would highly recommend him.
