Earl returned phone calls very promptly. He was on time for the quote visit and the work visit. He estimated that the work would take 3-4 hours, but it ended up taking 8. The price stayed the same, they just had to work harder for it, I guess. He walked me through what they were doing and the unexpected issues they were running into (and how they were addressing those issues). The chimney was original (~80 years) and had never had a lining. He didn't know how it made it this far, but noted that there was a lot of mineral buildup and moisture issues that were making the installation of the lining take more time. In the end, they completed the work and cleaned up any mess that they had made in the process. Earl was extremely professional and friendly. I would definitely use him again.
